That's what I concentrate on. Never fast laps, always consistent laps. If you can do 1:22's for 4 laps then fall off pretty hard in the next 8-12 laps and drop to the 1:25s, whats the point? Instead of setting the car up to get those hot laps, I try to see if I can let the tires last for a good 12-15 laps and be within a second or two of the best time. So doing 1:23's for 13 laps then 1:24s for another 4 or 5, that's a better bet.

Phil is right I just tried to run some side by side action with plc and its hard to keep it clean. The passing opportunity's are into the last hair pin, but if no one leaves room . And the other 1 is going into that 1st chicane so times 2. Best thing to do is separate yourself from the pack so you can hit your marks and check out!

This track is just another version of monaco , pretty impossible to overtake . Will have to make pit stops to overtake .

There's spots to overtake, after the first chicane getting a better exit then the guy in front. At the end of the little straight, the turn 2-3 combo to the left-right is a good spot to set someone up for a pass. Turn 4 leads to the flat out left handed turn 5 and the end of that turn will catch people out as it's a hard braking left hand turn that people will mess up if not careful. There's places, you just have to pick your spot.

If im racing against someone good it will take me several laps to get past cleanly , you will see what i mean come raceday .

Its very very hard to pass cleanly here .

Maybe its hard for me because my car is so slow

Well crap I went wide on the first chicane during my Q. Car literally flies there. After my second flier I did another lap and lobbed .4 off...

How much are we allowed to cut from the first chicane?
Are we allowed to basically fly through or just romp the curbs.
Kinda forgot how it was exactly (The Chicane that is)

I usually launch my car into the air at the 1st chicane from the right hand side curb so..Dunno haha
Probably a good foot-2 of vertical distance.

The walls are the limit pretty much. I ran a race with penality's on and even at that chicane it didn't give me one so I'm sure were game at that 1st chicane.

Sorry Seth but I agree with Skeng now did I did some laps with some friends of mine. The problem is there are places to pass if we used more hp. Bout time you reel someone in for a pass your at the next chicane and someone has to give at that point. You are fast enough and skilled enough to get around some drivers, so you may not run into this problem, but others will be. There's going to be a lot of incidents at the hairpin since that's the spot were you can get the most draft on another driver but if he doesn't leave room and you push the issue will happen!

I have to go up to Wollow Springs Raceway tomorrow to pick up a couple of karts for sale and ill just get back home right before we take the green flag. If anyone is intrested in some 125cc shifter karts or cadet's ill be selling them on ebay starting Sunday night'

Plc if your out there ill send you some pics and maybe we can link up for some tracks days. Ill be using these bad boys until they sell. I have 2 if your intrested for a test ride?
