I must qualify tonight!

I have to go up to Wollow Springs Raceway tomorrow to pick up a couple of karts for sale and ill just get back home right before we take the green flag. If anyone is intrested in some 125cc shifter karts or cadet's ill be selling them on ebay starting Sunday night'

Plc if your out there ill send you some pics and maybe we can link up for some tracks days. Ill be using these bad boys until they sell. I have 2 if your intrested for a test ride?

Hmmmmm, I could possibly be looking for a shifter kart. I used to race HPVs and KT100s and just started into shifters when I stopped racing. I've been wanting to go back, but the price would have to be right. Send me some pics man, or I'd love to go karting with you guys one of these days :)

I think Zach is just trying to make the race more proper since enough drivers have brought it up. Ill have to do some laps to see what exactly where the line is, I can't remember clearly off top.

Veloci I'll send you some pics to your pm tomorrow night. What city are you from, I'm in Los Angeles pretty much. There are 10 of each so I was going to post them up in a op or such,...

Yea, I saw you were in Northridge. I'm near Huntington Beach, so it's not too bad of a journey.

I think I'm going to bow out of the series for the remainder of the season at least. I'm getting tired of running GT300 cars as I've been doing so for the past few months at least. I might join back in next season if the cars are more closely suited to each other and I find something I enjoy driving. Cheers fellas!

Sad to see you go, but I understand we have had 2 good seasons together. Season 2 will be after FIAGT1 ends so maybe you'll be back if you cant find any other good series out there.

On another note I was thinking about scheduling a test ride in these karts and you, plc, and me all live pretty close together. If your down meet me at California Speedway or Apex Raceway for some demo runs in these shifter karts let me know? :sly:

I'll quali in a few, and note the times for you, too, people who haven't quali'd.

I'm about to sit bck and watch a movie, but let me know when you are ready in I'll go into your lounge buddy. 👍

Okay Joe, I need someone else to show up, to prove/verify my time, since I don't have a camera/anything that doesn't use up its batteries (meaning that all of them are dead,) or memory (my cell phone can't do video for memory space.)

But, in any other way, I'm ready. I'm always ready to drive.

shifter kart's are mad fun, I drove a 2 speed at a small course, and a modified 600R with a 6 speed at philip island, just mental!

I want to test a pro-kart but they are $120SGD to rent and I need a racing suit...
By the way Dave, Im trying to make a Blitz Skyline handle like a V8Supercar, think you can give me input? I could send the car to you.
The holidays are really provoking my imagination. :P

I will be looking to qualify about an hour before the deadline. Will a steward be online to watch at that time?

I've got a CRG racing suit. You pay shipping, and I guess I could send it. It's red, and doesn't match my Subaru  and won't match my go-kart, if I get into karting again.

Edit:

It's a size large, because I'm rather tall.

Did you used to run for CRG? or at least a CRG frame? I've always felt those chassis are too stiff and tend to run really tight. Great rearend grip, but you could never get the thing to turn.

I loved my Haase futura, but it seems like Birel is the way to go these days

I'm very happy and comfortable with my sparco gear, but my helmet safety date expires next month and the suits not looking its best, looking at going with simpson or bell race gear next,

I'd feel bad taking it off you tbh, I dont kart often either. :)

Will have the car up when my bro gets off the PS3 Dave. It's a Blitz Skyline.

Also Im looking to get a new roadcar in GT5, thinking of getting a Maserati GT. Had a brief experience of one irl and liked it alot. They any good?

not looking like I'm going to get to qualify for this one, sad times,

Had a 1/2 hr practice session just now. Managed a best of 1:21.722 (No Ballast). Had three laps in the 21's(8's and 9's) altogether and everything else was low 22's. By the end of my stint I seemed to have forgotten how to drive the track however and starting doing mid 22's.

Tuning the Garaiya for the track made a big difference. If anybody needs help setting up for tonight's race, I can help out. Think I'll qualify later tonight. Not expecting to be anywhere near my pace laps from today considering I'll be putting on ballast.

Zach 23.433 RX7
Some small mistakes here and there cost 0.4 otherwise he'd be on track for a 23 flat.

Was super hungry Zach
Room still up.

I have a room up right now, which should last until qualifying ends. Practice and whatever in it if you guys want.

sweet as, be there shortly,

Don't think this is necessary, but just in case, everyone needs to be careful at the exit of the first chicane when cars are coming out of the pits.

The cars exiting the pits have nowhere to go, so make sure you guys don't ram them into the wall :P
