This series is pretty darn close to spot on for the lap times equaling that of real life GT300 cars. I know other series like to claim realism and all that jazz, but they run harder tire compounds and are easily 5 seconds slower than real life times. The lap record for Motegi by a GT300 car IRL is 1:53.1xx. Were about a half second a lap faster, but our cars have a lot more than "300hp" like they claim IRL. Fuji, we ran the 'GT' layout, but adding the chicane would increase our lap times by about 5 seconds- that would put the fast lap at the 1:40's and 1:41's. The fastest lap IRL by GT300 at Fuji is 1:40.417 in the APR Toyota Prius! Can't get much closer than that.

What tuning works if you're getting good drive just before the apex and out of the turn, but need more bite coming into the turn?
I'm guessing a more aggressive negative camber?
Maybe some increased toe-out in the front.
Also lowering your front compression dampers would cause greater weight transfer and allow the car to turn more sharply coming in (lower rear compression damper in game for this effect)
