Verdicts are still being talked over but on a lighter note I'm lapping 2'22'333 as my best time so far. 2'21's/2'22's in a draft pull around this place.

Tyler's replay is the one I've been looking at. I know it won't work for phil, but I'm not sure if you have the same version of the game, Dave.

Yeah, you download it, unzip the file and should get something like BCUS98114-RPL007.
You need to put that BCUS folder into this heirarchy of folder:
PS3 > SAVEDATA > BCUS98114-RPL007
Then copy the entire PS3 folder onto your Playstation.
Go to the XMB Save Data, and copy the replay. If you didn't do the folder hierarchy right, it will show up as "Corrupted Data".
Once you copied the replay to your PS3, you go into the GT5 replay menu, and there should be an icon towards the bottom left of the screen. It'll look like an Arrow pointing into a Box.

No differentiation, at least not in this season. He showed up and raced, however short, he gets the reduced points and the reduced weight. I also don't want to go back and redo points/weight for other races where people did or did not dc/dnf.
If you guys feel like abusing this, go right ahead.
Probably 95% of the time you're getting fewer points than you would have gotten had you raced the full time, and you're probably going to be having 95% less fun than you would have as well lol.

Spa is looking good for a fun race this weekend. As long as everyone has room on track and a little give and take, this will be one of the best races of the season I think.

Just like GTRRL no weight penalty's for last race, gloves off boys let's get down.
Verdicts
Lap 16 (Seth & Tyler) Seth catches draft form Tyler coming down the back-straight going into the parabolic. Seth goes for inside pass and nudges Tyler's back quarter panel forcing him into a spin. Then after that Seth stops for Tyler to regain composure and re take his position back from his spin out, but due to the fact of Tyler's shot tires he light's them up 3 different times in effort to get back to speed but ends up killing more time in the process. Unfortunately we don't have a rule for how long driver A must wait to let another driver B regain his position back; before driver A just makes the pass on driver B, but well go over it in the season 2 discussion tread. Seth entered the pits right before Tyler, so technically Seth never gave the position back in a complete sense. But due to the fact that the stewards felt he had wait a fair amount of time we're going to chop the 30 sec penalty right down the middle at 15 secs for causing a collision. Also the incident allowed Cam & Zach bye Tyler and Cam bye Seth so we will be giving a penalty of +5 sec's times 2 drivers equaling 10 secs total time added to the 15sec penalty, and a warning for no matter what the situation is, he our any other drivers out there must allow whatever time it takes for the other driver involved to re gain his position back again.
Seth: 25 secs <---- penalty
Lap (Tyler & Zach) Tyler catching a draft from Zach going into Ascari and Tyler goes for the inside move on Zach and sends him off into the kitty litter after clipping the side of his car, and kept pressing on to catch Seth for some friendly pay-back I'm sure, but in the charge to get Seth, Tyler clearly doesn't give the position back to Zach so that is a drive thru penalty of 30 secs to Tyler.
Tyler 30 sec <---- penalty
Lap 29 (TNT & Ram) Contact is made as TNT runs deep into the corner. If you check the throttle trace, TNT is at 0% when Ramiboo hits him, as he has had to roll out of the throttle to Stay on track.
Also the contact Ramiboo initiates, does not cause TNT to go off track. Like it did with Tyler/Seth.
There then follows a series of small lag bumps slowly increasing in size. The final contact however is clear that TNT turns into Ramiboo just before the pit wall. For that final contact TNT should receive a warning only since no collision happen due to the fact of. But before the mayhem a back in sector 2 Ram puts a right tire on the grass under braking right before the 2nd chicane which made him miss his braking point and sending him straight line thru the chicane plus then he guns it half way thru the green section and clearly gains track position with doing so. So ram will have to take a 3 sec penalty for not letting off the throttle when fully cutting chicane do to failed brake point.
TNT & Tyler even tho the victims in these incidents or anyone else should learn that even tho caught out on emotions of the battle gone wrong please allow the stewarding to take effect for the best results. It seems we lose a lot of time in a incident but Tyler and Zach were within 2 secs of Seth and with Seth's 5 sec penalties only Tyler would have leap frogged Seth in the end.
Ok 3am in the morning I'm tried this was 1 of the most difficult incidents to steward by some of the guys btw,...
