That race was 🤬 epic!!!! By far the best race ever, sorry you missed that 1 Seth we waited over 30 mins for you.

I got 99 problems but a Spa replay aint 1!

If I had not of had a tangle with zach I could of got a podium for sure but after dropping to 8th place and pitting early for track position I was amazed to pull up to 3rd position, but threw it all away coming into Blanchimont trying to break my zach draft! :banghead::crazy:

Ahh man, when we tangled thought "here we go again" was brilliant to come back. Was a better race than Suzuka!

Oh man how oh how could you lose it. Couldn't believe my eyes. Braked way too early for chicane I was that much in disbelief.

Would like to see both re-played so I know what happened, want to avoid this stuff next time. Didnt save replay. :dunce:

Then the legs for the folding table (where my wheel is clipped) got stuck under the accelerator pedal after waiting for Zach.:ouch:

As usual then, messed it up again. :(

And I know Im saying this alot, but the draft really is G A Y. When someone goes by you, it seems their hp is...

Yea I was faced with giving you room and going through gravel. Or turning in hoping you lift and voiding gravel.
Ended up turning in and still going through gravel. Entirely my fault but was faced with certain doom or potential doom lol

That's was great pack driving with just the right amount of give and take. Hat's off to all the drivers even Tyler with his unfortunate tank slapper!

You are right Phil, the draft is over exaggerated here on GT5, but after the last update who knows what downforce numbers people are running. :scared:
 
Something to aim for on GVS - 50.8 was my best after a couple of laps.

Spa race was brilliant. Love Spa - Always close racing guaranteed. Agree that draft is ridiculous - Was running Max/Max.

I had to run for date night. I won't be able to upload as I typically do. Can someone post what happened to me on lap two? I have no idea at 140mph going uphill 4 wide lol!!!!

But I do agree, the ARTA is a very sorted car.

Yep. You has a draft off Uga. Followed by a draft off Calum lol lap 13 when you had 1/2 lap warmer tyres :P

Then you next lap is 1.8s slower Daaaaamn

So, how does this penalty work? I've never had one.
I also don't agree with the not cutting the pit exit line if there are no cars in the area when exiting. đź‘Ž
I always stay in the exit lane when someone is driving by. :)
I'll still take the penalty. You'll have to tell me how or when it is applied. :)
 
Just 10s added to you race total time.

You'll have to discuss that with Joe/alefin, I don't set the rules mate
 
Yeah, all penalties are just added to the total race time.

We've already applied the pit penalty to a couple of people in the same way so you'll have to put up with it for now lol, but that's something you should bring up for Season 2.

Also still need a replay of Spa.
 
I have the replay download to my thumb drive, so soon as my computer master room-mate gets here I'll do the dropbox move!

As mentioned earlier, there is no success ballast in the final round so everyone will run at their car's spec'ed weight.

Pretty sure I gave all the fastest laps/total time and that?

I have a question for you guys that didn't cross the line after the pits, were you automatically holding your analogue stick to the right in anticipation of being released? I was just waiting to be released and them bam, it sends me out of the pits pointing into the track and by the time i'd adjusted it was to late. The 10 secs makes no difference to the results but just thought it is a messed up pit exit to be honest.
 
The pit exit is messed up , it kinda throws you over the line , what I do is stay off the throttle and it keeps you in line

I actually reherase the whole pit procedure a lap before I enter, taking note of what the in/out looks like.
I even steer and brake into the pit box then have the clutch up when stopped even though I dont need to.

Sounds super geek I know, but keeps me focused so that I dont muck up going in and out.

And the pit exit line at SPA is awful.
