did any one in the replay find out who spun me as i didn't get a replay
i set up my recorder so i can record quali laps if it helps it takes year to upload but i can record gameplay

You were lagging really bad man. When I came back through the field I was scared to pass you.

Not sure about your incident though. I have the replay as well.

You'll need it if you're two wide through a turn. But for qualifying 4 wheels on the concrete I think should count as a cut.

Yea 4 wheels on concrete is not legal for qualifying only. 2 wheels is ok. For the race concrete is ok.

This track and car is frustrating the hell out of me! :banghead: 1:51.999
I'm going to have to turn up my downforce for sure!

sorry TnT, I still don't have a tune that's worthy of passing on yet. Hopefully after my test session tomorrow, I'll have something more solid for you. 👍

I'm the only guy running 52s... Haha why oh why couldn't it have been deep Forrest where I actually know the track

Forget qualifying pace, running with others is way different. Especially turns 3-5 before the downhill hairpin.

Looks like another Subaru/RX7 battle royale, me and Zach can't dial the car in here either.

Very small mistakes also cost a butt-ton of time.

And weirdly I find running wide at T1 faster...

Love this track so maybe this will be my first race win :)

I think ill qualify tonight , Ive had the same setup on my car all season just change the final gear ratio depending on track .

We'll see :)
Are you still running high 50's?

After another hour today I'm finally hitting consistent 1.51.4s. Man the line around here is weird.

It's pretty hard to find the apex on the last turn before the first tunnel... same with the next tunnel, and the last tunnel. :sly:

Just keep practicing guys , the line will come to you soon , should be logging on soon .

Someone post room number

Running mid to high 1:51's. I think the most time can be gained in turn 1, and the hairpin down after the first esses.

All the time is in sector 2 here , sectors 1 and 3 arent that bad . I think .

Anyone with a room open , room # ?

Yea Phil at this track there is where I want to go, and where the car goes and those are 2 different lines unfortanely. :ouch:

I'm going to run higher downforce, but I assume it will only bring me into the 1:51's at most.

Go full downforce on the front, but start your rear downforce 10 clicks down from max. See if that works. Continue to click down until you can't handle it anymore.

Been working for me.

As I'm finding my driving style. I like to have the car rotate into the apex. So I run a brake bias that promotes this with the right pedal stab and pressure. Something like 4/3 or 5/4 depending on the track. You have to keep your brake diff setting pretty low around the mid teens to make this work.

Not sure if this will work for DS3 users.

Yup that was how I was going to approach the downforce setting. I actually run a higher rear brake then front brake. My to settings are 4/7 or 5/7. At this place ill be running the 4/7 setup since there is no heavy braking before a chicane here at Grand Valley.

That's how I ran the WRX. Higher brake in the rear. I also run 32/55 downforce here. I tried lower it gives higher top speed, but your turn in is ruined while following other cars.
