Yet again dcn :banghead:
Won´t be able to race saison 2 :grumpy:
It doesn`t make sense to join if im dcn most races. I do have a regular disconnect once every night. It seems to be always at our racing time.
Good luck to all with saison 2 👍

There's probably 4039282748483 penalties to come, and we don't know if any races will be dropped.

But provisionally I'm the champion (yahooo)

So yea, with the penalties and/or excluding races it's Pepsi or Uga who is (are?) the champion(s?)

Haha so expect a frosty response from me next season as I'll probably feel like Senna did when they bull****ted him out of a championship

Good luck to all with season 2 👍

Sorry slsamg, I have been paying close attention to that all season, and I was thinking "I hope he doesn't get DC'd again", but it happen like clock work. Obviously there is a connection issue between you and me and it makes me sad because you have been there every round giving it a go and I wish there was something I could do to make up for this problem. I'll buy and send you a brand new SLS AMG for your efforts to Jstc man! 👍

Plz await the champion to be crowned, much thankz to all for participating in Jstc!

On a happier note I'm getting fibre optic broadband next week.... Shame no more racing lol

Sorry Phil... I was giving giving giving all race and went from 4-last within 10 laps. At that point after spending 12 laps near catching the cars ahead and finding you and Seth in between the tunnels I was over the giving. That incident wasn't meant for you.

I guess I don't understand this give and take concept.

👎 You don't seem to understand give at all. Just take. You take things too seriously for one. What's the "f--- seth" crap about? You outbrake yourself and take someone else out then say that? The sad part about it, I saw it coming. When I pulled to the left I just knew you were going to overshoot the first turn. I called it to myself and that's why I moved left and slowed like I did. I was waiting for you to make that move. Too bad you caught Pepsi in it, we were having a good race. :ouch:

I didnt even get the chance to turn-in lol.
And yeah having a good race till I rear-ended you man. :P

Im surprised it put you in the sand though. The hit was more a tap on my screen but you flew into the sand, that was my bad.
If that didnt happen we would both be further up.

I never expected to be in a championship position in this series, got fast guys with more experience like Skeng and Uga. :scared:

I think 3rd place was possible for me. I was in the process of braking when you hit my rear. The screen was jumpy a few times for me during the race. Seemed like there was a bit of lag, that might have had a part in why it seemed like just a tap on your end but a major bump on my end.

It is not difficult to overtake and race clean on this circuit Joe, hell we battled for 15 laps in the DTM series, but all I've seen so far from the replay's is someone who looked like they intentionally ran another car off the track and someone who intentionally missed the brakes to run someone off the road and missed their target,

Hi Joe. Its not connection problem between the two of us. Its a prob. with my local provider. He is disconnectin all his customers once every night. A pain in the 🤬 its always in the middle of our race. If the races would be an hour earlier I would have no problems. I really enjoyed racing with you guys. 👍👍
Grats to the champion. (Zach?!)

ps: no need to send me a car. I have got more than enough.

Well last night was interesting! I started off well by capitalising on other mistakes an going for 11th to 7th but i touch the grass a tiny bit and fish tailed all the way down the hill into the wall lol, at least i got back on track quicker than usual and re-placed in 2nd to last.

My pace was really slow on used tyres so i decided to go for a 2 stopper to see what would happen and new it would be a waiting game until the last couple of laps. I was gaining on the people in front and maybe i might of caught a few up looking at some of those incidents. Then coming out of the second last corner it just DC'd me.

Overall i really enjoyed the series and for next season I'm going to put more practice into each track to be more competitive and if i can cut out my errors i might have some higher finishes.

Well done to everyone for making it a good season 1 and lets hope for an even better season 2.

Yeah, we'll have to wait until penalties are sorted out, but as I've hinted at earlier, I'll be posting a set of results (1 full points, 1 with races dropped, 1 average).

Grats to Skeng for first race win.

Grand Valley Replay

Tdz: You and Skeng are right you can pass cleanly here. But it does take that give and take scenario to get it right. 13 drivers, last round contentions, w/ a splash of rivalries I am amazed we had such few incidents.

Slsamg: I didnt know that, I'm glad you told me I started to doubt my connection total coverage. I'm still glad you stuck it out so I'm sending SLS AMG your way anyways big guy!!!

Ok g2g guys still putting in that quality times w/ my house packed full of kids terrorizing the place! :banghead:

Congratz Skeng on your race win! 👍

Good season guys. This was quite an experience. Had fun learning all these tracks for the first time. Qualifying and practice were my favorite parts.

To those whom have on track patience, thanks for enduring my learning curve.

Practice is the key to improving and i find the harder you make the challenge the bigger the reward .

Tune your car and practice on racing hards and when you use mediums or soft it will be much easier for you .

When it comes to overtaking and general racing , practice following people as close as you can , dont think about passing them just think about following their line or use your lines or better lines if they are available .

Remember these races are long and its better to wait 20 laps to make a safe pass than try on lap 3 and wipe yourself out or worse wipe out more than just your own car .

Remember its not all about 1 lap pace and sometimes tracks will treat those drivers who can keep a decent pace and treat their tires better than the 1 lap pace guys better in the long run of a race distance , you get what im saying .

Cant wait for season 2 , think ill take pepsi and zachs approach , just collect good points all season .

I agree here with Skeng here, I like to practice on hards with a very low downforce setup 1st. Learn the track in this specification and then start adding downforce and the softer rubber finally to improve my lap times through out the week. I like practicing this way because you just watch your lap times get faster and faster which is good for confidence sake, rather then putting together your fastest setup and never breaking your pb time all week long, which could lead you to working on your qualifier and not your race pace which is another no,no as well! I could of placed better overall imo, but this being my 1st hosted race a lot of my free time went to managing peoples wants & needs in this op instead of practicing for better race pace. And poor Alefin had his work cut out for him with op updating like crazy. I definitely could not of done it without him or are great Stewart who signed up, thanks to you guys! And last but not least to all the drivers who gave feed back and input to get the cars closely matched as possible, so thanks guys I appreciate all you drivers for signing up and sticking it out with us! @ All!

Incident Report Tyler, Phil, and Seth (Lap 27)

Tyler, Seth, and Phil going 3 wide into the turn 1, tyler gets his feet wet on the left side grass in propels back into the pack of cars just barely missing Seth, but catching phil and knocking them into the kitty liter. So Tyler is issued a drive thru penalty for is incident.

30 sec drive thru <---- Tyler

Incident Lap 32 Phil & Mike still under investigation,

A good amount of drama for a a last season race I would like to add I'm sure we have all been there at some point. 👍

The race end!!!

If you decide to start season 2 races 1 hour earlier let me know. ;)

I hear ya there slsamg. This was originally going to be a us afternoon race the the GMT turn out was insane. If the time gets pushed back ill send you a pm buddy.

Willfred you should bring it up on the season 2 discussion tread if you haven't already so everone could get a poll going on it.

Incedent Report: Lap 32 Mike & Phil
Some of the stewarts reported back that Mike Grove pushes Phil off track and is issued a drive thru penalty for this move.

30 sec penalty <---- Mike Grove

This should conclude all the incidents for the Grand Valley Rd so Alefin can draw up the final points and we can crown or Champion!!!
