looking at 1 min+ win and was getting boring.

need a different car to make this a real challenge.

Good race though I never really felt in trouble for the win. Maybe it's time to try
something really slow without the type r in the race.

Thanks for reading and i hope this will help your future races in the GV300.

Haven't done the Nurburgring 4h in a long time, only just unlocked it in my GTP account so i thought i would have a go.

The Z Z-tune was much faster in high speed sections gaining 5-7 seconds on the long straight alone. Through it's first 4 laps of each stint had closed a minute gap on a couple of occasions, however it's 5th lap would lose approx 35-45 seconds.
I was pitting every 4 laps and from lap 17 to lap 19 held the lead by 4 seconds at most during each lap. Late on lap 19 I lapped the Corvette which promptly held up the Z giving a brief 8 second lead that was cut to 2 seconds by the start/finish line. Pitted at the end of Lap 20 and was blocked when exiting the pit box by the pitting Z Z-tune. Holding the lead through those laps and the 35 seconds I had gained on lap 20 proved to be the difference between a close finish and the comfortable win i ended with.

Just try the race on sports hards, with the NSX Type R against you it will be a challenge, believe me, hehe.:) Found that out the hard way. Nice lap times though.👍

Next race will be either the 4 hour mx-5 or the GV300 again with a stock Integra DC5 in a slower field.

Just wanted to briefly add my experience here as it's post the 2.02 update.

I wanted a tight race so I grabbed the premium RX-7 '90 from the NCD lowered and stiffened the suspension and slapped RH tyres on it. I figured that the NSX Type-R would pit twice so if I ragged the nuts off the Mazda, 407PP would be about right.

I was running 2:13.xx laps for the first couple of stints and 2:12.xx's when lighter later on (pretty chuffed with only one mistake in the whole run). I pitted 3 times on the RH tyres on laps 15, 30 & 45. The NSX pitted on lap 28 and I kept within 30 secs of it so that when it pitted around lap 55 it would be a straight race to the line.

Except it didn't. It only needed the one pit stop so I lost by about 30 secs. I've never seen that before and wonder whether it's to do with the new tyre wear system after the latest update.

Has anyone else ever seen the NSX pit only once?

Axle;

I've done some running of the GV300 recently, though haven't seen the NSX R post 2.02 update...

The RX-7 I raced in my post update run did pit a 2nd time...
Want to ask how were the RH tires?

I've ran S:S for most of my runs, with some S:H and C:S thrown in, on a 450PP S2000..

Will be looking at a 3rd run later this week, might try a brand new car, thinking around the 420PP on S:S / S:H

OK, if the NSX shows up I'll be interested to know if it pits once as that completely caught me out.

Cheers. 👍

Can't get the 2.02 update until january but i am keen to hear how much it has changed with tyre wear and i hear the AI is improved again.
axletramp I would have almost felt cheated if i was in a similar position only to have the type r change to a 1 stop. first i have heard of that happening.
