What games are you playing now?

Day before yesterday I finished with main story too and I have similar thoughts...
Very long and confusing ending.
Game was great overall, I mostly enoyed.

This morning I finished first DLC, fun, specially with Rose, like I'm playing Lollipop Chainsaw :D

This evening I will probably finish second DLC and game goes on delete.
The Rose DLC was a nice change of pace, really enjoyed it, much better than the other episodes.

Started with Astro Playroom and The Crew Motorfest, putted Spider-Man Miles Morales and Metro Awakening on download.

I hope so I will be able to play all of them.

I started Star Wars: Dark Forces Remastered, I've just done maybe the fourth level? I decided to play with the original graphics, it felt weird to play a game that has aged so poorly with fancy new graphics and the uncanny valley cutscenes. And boy has it aged poorly... I already knew that though because I played the original during COVID times and pretty much just cheated my way through it to watch the cutscenes for the story, since so little of it comes out during the gameplay (which is understandable, it was a contemporary of Doom after all). It's just too repetitive* and labyrinthine, I'm only playing it now because I got it in a bundle and wanted to see how remastered it is.

*Which is a funny criticism to have of it when you consider that I played the shareware demo (which is just the first level) to death over and over when I was a kid.

Only £4 currently to mark the sequel announcement and I only got about 1/3 of the way through on the Wii, many years ago. A perfect game for the Portal.

I'm still playing MegaMan X Legacy Collection 1. I apparently have cleared 50% of the Achievements now. I needed hints from some YouTube videos on picking up certain special items. I acquired the Golden Armor in MegaMan X3, but I didn't save it because I was sure I had to beat the game without the Golden Armor. Some hidden Achievements seem fairly obvious. Or at least, they are on your mind sometimes but are not yet revealed until you accomplish them.

Warframe (That's what my profile post was referring to when I was talking about my reaction to them making Rank Up attempts now unlimited until you make it and me showing a P-rank video to say I find it an Pure Win move.), Forza Horizon 5 (Relaxedly doing the weekly 40 points.) and GT7 (I often switch events, I don't do the grinding races 'cause... well, for me it's gonna be constantly be... "Hit A Wall" penalties giving 5 seconds.)

Addendum: Forgot about Minecraft Java Edition. A lot of interconnected and compatible mods for maximum customization. (Approx. 70 mods altogether.)

Continuing the retro theme, another game I never finished in the PS2/Wii era.

Completed the main story of Indiana Jones and the Great Circle. Felt a bit short, but there is still a lot to go back and do in terms of side-quests and collectibles. What a good game that was, looking forward to updates/DLC.

Started Alien: Rogue Incursion (PSVR2). So far so good. While it's not exactly the Alien: Isolation in VR I was hoping for, it's still great to be in the Alien universe in VR with characters you only previously read about in the books/comics.

Since it was just about to come off sale on the PS Store, i've just bought a little known and obscure racing game called Gran Turismo 7. Not technically 'playing it now', so i can't tell you if its any good or not.

One of my all time favs*. I will never give up on waiting for a sequel.

*Having said that. I did buy it on PS4 a year and a bit ago. Still need to finish it. 😅

I never finished this either, because at one point when I had almost 100%ed it I did something and the game auto saved during the action and the action caused me to get stuck such that I couldn't do anything at all. I tried for hours to change the result but couldn't and so completely soft locked myself from ever being able to do anything but get stuck. I never went back and still don't especially want to, it's been like 20 years and I'm still bitter.

Not sure if it's a late-game location/mechanics spoiler for you so I'll tag it:
I bunnyhopped the BMX, it saved in mid-air and I landed in a tree, just stuck like I was doing the biggest jump ever. Couldn't pause, couldn't turn, I tried waiting to see if it would realise I should've landed, restarting, mashing all kinds of buttons the moment the game loaded, etc. but nothing worked.

when I have time, The Thrill of The fight 2. I have to build a new racing rig. the Thrustmaster Direct drive wheel/pedal combo is $400. It looks like it isnt PS5 compatible :(. dunno if thats good or if i should wait and save to get something else.
