i'd second that & the 650s please.

Okay sure. I was slammed all weekend, I started a new webserver and site during my free time (sorry! ). I'll get to your 650S after a few more J-Sports cars 👍

Toyota 86 GRMN - N200

People complain about the number of Skylines in previous GT iterations. There's how many 86's and BRZ's in this game? Anyway, enough small talk. Suzuka was a great drive for this car, its really fun slamming the gas as you exit 130R, she'll slide a little and grab. Lift to steer here through most turns and you should be able to take the last two turns flat out. I didn't try my 86 GT/BRZ tune on this car, it may work, but not as well I'm going to assume. No mileage upgrades were done to the car.

First she was oversteery, then understeery and back and forth for a bit. This was a tricky car to tune for some reason. She does have her limits on really tight turns, so ease into the throttle on those exits. She'll give you great confidence coming off the hill into and through the chicane. Upping the front and rear rebound dampers really helped overall speed. No mileage upgrades were done to the car.

The time I spent in Sport Mode was mostly on this track. I ended up getting a 48.999 IIRC, 1.5 seconds faster than the default settings. So if someone says the stock tune is 'fine', at least give it a go 👍 This will allow you to take all but one turn flat out (I'm sure you can guess which one). No mileage upgrades were done to the car.

This might be my record for the fastest tune. I think it came in at 9 minutes. Less, if you don't count me trying other, more aggressive steps. Which I then scrapped. Little to no understeer, but she's not jerky either. No mileage upgrades were done to the car.

I'm hoping a vintage NSX and GTO are part of the update later this month.

If a 90's NSX gets released I'll just play hookie and spend like 4 hours tuning that car

You can put these on the backburner, or as time and interest allow. I believe this will cover all of the Japanese road cars (N100-600) in GTS, not counting future updates. If others make requests, please feel free to work on theirs first. Much appreciated. Again, no rush whatsoever.

My garage is light on N600+ cars so I'll start with the Nissan's first, then roll back to the lowered powered cars.

Since dude hasn't gotten back to me with which 650S to tune, I went ahead and did the Nissans. They take the same tune. Personally, I prefer the Premium Edition one.

My suspicions were right again, we can find a tune that fits both cars. They drive the same, the NISMO has more power/less weight. I tried to keep things as balanced as possible for the tune as the cars themselves were balanced and easy to drive fresh of the showroom floor. Softening the Compression Dampers really helped ease the car into the turns. When exiting tight turns, shift a little into 3rd just as she starts to redline for added power ;) The car specs below are for the GT-R NISMO. No mileage upgrades were done to the car.

This was the easiest FF car to tune yet, it didn't take a lot of creativity to get her to respond and turn in. I took her for a spin at the Nurburgring GP and did fine (for an FF). Sad story time, I saw a guy with a brand new red Civic Type R and his license plate got vandalized in black spray paint. I haven't seen another one since. But don't be sad, enjoy the tune! this thing's all over the place. is this a drift tune?

No drift tune. Just aggressive and suited for Willow. Try lifting the throttle and let her settle into the turn. I'm not sure how you are driving, but maybe ease onto the throttle as you exit?

I see you kept the front LSD fields for the NISMO blank. Are we to leave those values as-is or are the blanks understood as 0? Currently, when switching to custom LSD, the front settings are 7/30/15.

Much to my surprise PD made the Mitsubishi Lancer Final Version Gr. B Road car and the Subaru WRX Gr. B Road Car have the same physics. There may be super minor differences, but the same tune works for both. Will post them later today.

I started with the RC F tune, tried it at Maggiore and Yamagiwa. Yamagiwa proved to be where I just ran lap after lap for funzies. With these two cars, you could argue that you turn more with your gas pedal than your steering wheel; throttle control is everything to keep these two on the line. The specs below are for the Lexus RC F, note the different ride height variables and remember to set the transmission for the track you are on. No mileage upgrades were done to the car(s).

Mazda Atenza Gr. 3 Road Car - N500
cAoAfS.jpg

Let me start by I'm not making any excuses, but in order to fix this car, PD needs to let us adjust or remove the front downforce on the car. It absolutely destroys any hopes of making a tune at Dragon Trail: Gardens for example. Longer, sweeping tracks like Alsace and Suzuka she drives just fine, but exiting tight turns is awful at other tracks (forget exiting turn if she's even slightly off balance). The front DF is just far too strong and you cannot counter that, sadly. Alas, here's my tune and as you can see I had to literally mute everything to even begin to get it to behave and don't try and tighten the transmission a lot. If you find she still oversteers, you can try 1 / 1 for the sway bars and pray to the gods. No mileage upgrades were done to the car.
