Long time, no see, Mazkid!

That's a hell of a goodwill warranty claim! We have to tag, bag, and return anything that expensive at Lexus. Then again, I got free front seat belts due to, um...good connections.

Actually, the same guy had 2 hard tops that had to be warranteed...the one I got was painted poorly and slightly warped, and the other one was evidently warped as well, though I never got a choice of which one to have(stuck up parts manager...though I did get a free one so I can't complain too much). The hard top I got was sitting in my dad's area of the shop for about half a year...the parts dept just needed 1 hard top for the claim, so I was able to get one of them.

I always eye the wholesale 1st-gen-GS's, but they're usually in terrible shape. About the only parts I need are a '94 Owners Manual, and a working CD changer. I don't really miss either one.

That's the same problem I have, I don't really need anything from wholesale cars. But hey, I always look over the Mazdas that get traded in to see if there's anything even remotely useable to me. So far it's just been the wheels...the rest of that '99 was useless to me, it had a tan interior, and I already have the best mechanical parts on mine.

Recently they moved the wholesale lot from our lower parking lot to another dealership like 2 miles away. It's bogus, but I figure I can still see the cars that we get traded in, and there's a good percentage of repeat Mazda owners.

And thanks all for the welcome back...I'll try to stick around more. ;)

Maz,
That's deffentaly a sweet ride. I like the set up with it, the only thing that I would do different is that I would at least go a size bigger than the 14s. But other than that, its a good car.

Did you read and/or look at the pictures in the first post?
