Just imagine how EPIC it's going to be.

Sure there be like 40 skylines, 10 EVOS but you know what, each one has diffrent specs. there is someone with EVO II , or Nissan Sylvia K , and they find out its in the game.. so why not?

More the better!!! It does not get boring.

Just out of curiousity but who would be happy with just time trial leaderboards and the option to create private rooms. Sure having the option of 1000 cars means racing against your friends won't be boring. However this for me is the minimum online content and I hope GT5 provides more.

1,000 does sound kind of epic, but then you realize there will be like 50 Skylines, 35 WRX's, etc...

Having multiple copies of the same car kind of trims that number down quite a bit.
Yeah... trims it all the way down to 930 plus if you take out every Skyline, WRX and Evo. But then, why would anyone want them to? :sly:

Just read my sig for wisdom.

I hope it's EPIC WIN!

But hope it's not EPIC FAIL :D
Don't worry, Forza will be there with a blankie for you.

Epic win! Epic win! 4 more days to get through. (I'm not counting the day of the presentation which is the 23rd for me in the USA).

Where did you find cars list for Forza 3 and GT5 ?

Turn 10 is pretty forth coming with game info. Go to forzamotorsport.net and you'll find a confirmed car list which is growing bigger every day with the release growing so near.

As far as GT5's cars... You know it's going to have multiples of all the Japanese cars with the fact they are bringing over GT4's cars.

Forza 3 is going to have a little over 525 cars by the end of next year. So GT5 doesn't quite trump it all considering, not that it matters anyway considering they are both exclusive to each system

Yeah, and you're going to have to pay for them, evidently in lots of 10. And if the F3 DLC is anything like the F2 DLC, there's going to be a lot of annoying filler. What will 200 cars cost? I'm not looking for the F3 DLC to be something to cheer about.

I will gladly pay for each and every one of them. I didn't find any filler at all in the Forza 2 DLC packs. I enjoyed every car. What I'm not going to enjoy though is all the filler that GT5 is going to have. I don't really care to have 50 different versions of the same Japanese car.

Even though the Japanese cars do come in clones I'm a big fan of choice and I love the choice that Gran Turismo has always provided. It shouldn't be a reason for anyone to complain.

I have to agree, pay for DLC is almost always a ripoff in my opinion.

But it does make me wonder whether GT5 DLC will be pay... I know I have heard plenty DLC claimed as a possible solution for a lot of potential shortcomings in GT5... I hope it's free DLC.

You mean, as long as we get European & American car clones too there should be no reason to complain.

How there been any mention of a livery editor or customization for the cars in GT5? Is there any chance for some kind of livery editor in GT5 at all? If not then I don't think GT5 is going to beat Forza in EVERY department.

Livery editor and the community multiplayer aspect is going to be really hard for GT5 to beat. Forza 3 has all cars that are printable, you have the auction house where you can sell tunes, paintjobs, pictures, videos. Not to mention the new multiplayer lobby system and the unlimited rules that can be created to custom tailor a race.

I would love it if GT5 could get even close to having that kind of stuff. If it did it would blow Forza 3 right out of the water. That is one fact that I love about Forza is that you can take a car and make it your own.

If I could get that feeling out of GT5 it would be awesome.

dude give up all that pretense.

stick to forza and the 360. Your agenda is so revealing, i am kinda disappointed you managed to give yourself so early in the game. poor effort

Are you retarded? I'm getting a PS3 and I'm getting GT5. I'll be sure to take a picture of me with both giving you the finger for proof.

It's obvious your a GT/PS fanboy or something for giving me crap just for talking about the features I like in Forza and want GT to have.

What if the physics, AI, realism, simulation, depth and overall completeness of GT5 wins over the lion share of every other racing sim's fans and supporters and finally puts the nail in the coffin of Forza vs GT fanboy arguments.
Sounds to me like you are a bit of a fanby yourself...pot calling the kettle black?

Whilst I agree with the OP that GT5 will be epic. If we wish to put a nail in the coffin with the GT Vs forza arguments then GT5 needs to match FM3 for online content.

At the moment I have no doubts GT5 will beat FM3 in every department except im cautious about the online content. These days online content plays a very important role in the success of a game. Look at COD4 I only played the single player for about a week and yet still thousands of people continue to play it.

As for the PS4 why talk about a console that will never appear. Our current generation of consoles will be the last!!

I'm sure there'll be some let downs but also some surprises.
What do you mean, the current generation of consoles will be the last?

I think he thinks everyone is going to give up making consoles and handhelds, and just produce software for the existing systems and PCs. Not likely, and you know if something bizarre happens and MS and SONY both drop their next systems - and by the way, they're working on the next gen even now - Nintendo would only stop making systems when the world ends. And I'm not even sure they would stop then!
