Just installed legends and speedhunter dlc from psn!

I wasn't charged tax on either DLC this time...funny because I always thought I had been charged tax in the past.

The transition of the 914/6 GT is also very interesting. From the dreamtastic neutral handling of the stock car to a oversteery, nervous monster once you put in the RSRs engine, race suspension and tires! Oh lordeeeeeeeee...

The lightweight E-Type upgraded is also a nightmare, even worse than the GT40!

If someone can make the GT40 drive in a straight line, that and Rouen (for short ) will be my favourite combo.

Just tried that car with the settings in the tuning forum, i am using a DFGT wheel and, Oh my, what a terrible car to drive, cannot keep it in a straight line, reminds me of the Lotus earlier on in the game. 👎

Think i will stay away from that car in the future.

Tell me about it. I only installed the LE content, plus I'm nowhere near finishing the main carrer. Still on the time attack events. This, along with autolog, guarantees that Shift 2 will continue to be fun for a VERY long time. This game just has endless replay value, and that's great.

Also, I finally got some money and I may get the Speedhunters and Legends DLC today, so it gets even better!

Legends dlc is awesome and the speedhunters is kinda meh. Their both fun though. If you can only get one go with the legends. You get some awesome cars and the classic tracks are very nice.

Guys anyone looking for a challenging race with the A.I.?
I miss the first couple of weeks where one really had to struggle, literally with the A.I. drivers to win a race.Than PSN came back up and I guess Autolog forced us to be faster and sharpen our skills in the game.:tup:And to chose the fastest car for each event.
But now it's all about Autolog competition and getting through the A.I. cars in the first two corners or other You wont be able to battle the record with friends.
So there is no real competition anymore, with the A.I.,that is-the other one between friends is ruthless and without quarter- which, I'm sure most of You would agree is dull.
Soooooo...here is my suggestion:idea::
We all will have plenty of time to battle each other with the BMW for the Autolog,Regional, World,etc records.And I'm guessing that using it in the last Legend Championship-the one we get the reward car- will make it a walk in the park...but that's not the point,is it?
My choice was to take the stock Porsche Carrera RSR 3.0 to battle this new guy and take his Porsche.
It is very fast specially on straights and mixed with a couple GT40 Mk1, and Capris make a good race against the A.I., letting them pass on straights catch the draft and outbreak them into the corners and overtaking them again.
Just had a great race on Rouen '52 with it Hard A.I. , elite, no assists, You guys know the drill...
Any one up for it...?

I'm using the GT40 stock and am not having a lot of trouble driving it. It is a bit woobly on the straights and a little tricky but I'm learning to maintain it. It's a fun car IMO.

Was really disappointed with the classics pack. I expected teh cars to be stock and allow u to upgrade em as normal but most are restricted. Drag pack tho, F'in well love it. Been having so much fun on standing mile letting rip with cars. best so far is 303mph with Audi RS4 (just ramp everything upto top speed and hit nitro and ram through gears) Fully upgraded a supra too and the damn things too powerful. had it wheel spinning in 6th gear and flipped round doing 240-260mph. it has great potential just a shame there is too much power going to teh wheels that u cant get to a good top speed as wheels just start spinning, out of teh two i feel quite robbed of my £8 with teh classics. if u only have cash for one i'd deffinitly recommend Drag dlc over classic

Actually forget what I've just wrote...it all comes down to Autolog, always!
I guess only Rouen was interesting.Don't know if it is me who don't go as fast @Rouen as in some of the "old" tracks, or if it's the fact that it is the only race where You don't start 1st and have to "battle" Your way through the pack and make more mistakes and back down to avoid crashes...but just did Emma Pergusa and all I could see was some headlights following me through the first chicane complex and getting closer in the following straight-it's a night race- and then...NOTHING.
They seem to fall back 3 or 4 seconds and never recover. unless one makes a mistake.👎

If your drag cars lose traction stiffen up the rear dampers. It gives you so much more grip.

I Was looking for these DLC packs on PSN the other day and they are not there. Just tried again today and the only DLC content is the 'Unlock all cars', 'fast five' and 'online pass'

Where have the legends & drag packs gone?

Having a break from Autolog tonight due to Le Mans acute addiction...I took a little break from it to tune this beast!
I guess I found a well balanced tune although it's probably not the fastest setup(nor the power parts were installed), I just looked for stability.

Downloaded Speedhunters pack earlier today (got Legends last week) and was
delighted to find that the cars will run in all other race modes

All the other cars including Legends will run on the dragstrips too, brilliant! 👍

I got Legends yesterday and completed it just now (also driven all of the new cars already), not sure if it was worth the 10 euros but it definately made me enjoy Shift 2 a bit again.
Especially the last Legends Championship. Used the only Legends pack car that you can works convert, the 70's Skyline 2000 GT-R. This thing is a beast, accelerates very fast and not too hard to control with almost stock tune. Only bad thing is that the gearbox limits its top speed to 270-280 km/h and you have to let go off the throttle a bit. Could get much more out of it if only it had a 6th gear or just better ratios for the 5 gears (or differential) it has. For the rest I really love this car. I've beaten all world records with it in the Legends Championship except on Rouen Short.

Still thinking if I should get Speedhunters pack but I probably will try it.
