Chevy Camaro ZL1 1LE
Widebody
Aero: Rear/Low wing
19 inch wheels normal/wide

Please excuse the horrible quality cell phone pic of the monitor. I couldn’t get my stream working on my alt account, so my usual method for the snapshots wasn’t an option. Will update soon with clear pics.

On the topic of the car however, It might be my new favorite RWD car. The active LSD is glorious once you get the hang of it. You can give the throttle the full boot for just a moment on corner exit, and then release the throttle instantly, and finally come back on at between 50-75% force and the car will be glued to the ground and actually laying power down. In some cases that first stab might even hook up just fine. This is a huge delight as you’re essentially getting on power instantly and an absurd amount of time sooner than you normally would. This is a very odd technique, but I assure you it works. Besides that major selling point: She’s quick as you can ever want, handles beautifully, and really never makes you question it’s capabilities.

*for the time being just use the auto slider to set the transmission where it’s set in the pic

Car is setup to go around Tsukuba as fast as possible. Completely change the gearbox for other tracks and it should perform well wherever.

Love your work mate - spent all morning working through your 700PP tunes, am A rated with plenty of wins in Daily Races and about 500+ hours in the game but always get demolished in lobby's - your tunes have changed that around so thanks a lot.

Can't wait to see your 600PP tunes, been trying to get the Stratos competitive and its close but im sure you will do it a lot better!]

Keep it up mate best tuning page for GT7 on the internet!

Thank you so much! That puts a huge smile on my face knowing someone is enjoying them as much as I do. Once I get 25ish 700pp tunes posted i'll start working on 600pp w/ S tire tunes. In the meantime if you have anything you'd like a 700 tune for, and its within my power to build, I'd love to do a build for you.

Your welcome bro and look forward to it! The Testarossa would be great if you have it in your collection!

Have it handling ok but its just nowhere near competitive enough for a lobby!

There’s a chance I do have it. If not I believe it’s in the UCD at the moment so I’ll scoop it up and tune it later today when I get home from work.

Appreciate it - no worries if you don't have the credits everything you have put out so far has been top quality and I like to use a lot of different cars!

Have seen a couple of people being pretty competitive in Lamborghini Aventador LP 750-4 SV 15' so that's another option!

I'm flush with credits atm so I'll 100% do the Testarossa. Not much of a Ferrari guy but I haven't seen anyone do a good tune at the 700pp mark for it yet, so that's a guaranteed build. I feel like theres a ton of Aventador builds out there since it’s one of the few “OP” cars for road car lobbies.

Request: 1998 Sileighty. Love your integra and celica tunes would love to see what you do with the Sileighty
Thank you for enjoying the builds! Check out the updated Celica. It’s much better. Not sure if you’re still looking for a Sileighty build, but since I somehow missed your post I’ll be prioritizing this build and hopefully have it posted tonight/tomorrow.

Just finished the Testa’. Please hit me with a brutally honest review after you drive it. Should be posted by the time you see this.

Ferrari Testarossa
No widebody (can’t)
Aero: Medium Wing
18 inch Wheels normal/wide

When it comes to these older sports cars that came with 5 speeds, I find it best to run a first gear that seems slightly too long, into a fairly quick 2nd-3rd-4th, and then a properly sized 5th gear to reach appropriate speeds. The reason I prefer this is because there’s a lot of times where downshifting into 1st gives you that extra breaking/turn-in bite that you need, but when the gear is basically useless it doesn’t feel good. This solves this by giving you a wide range of use for 1st, and makes 2nd 100% stable with no wheel spin. Hope you enjoy it.

This is another superb tune mate great work! It is very stable with the gear ratio set-up and so much fun to drive.

Anyone reading this looking for tunes and worrying about sinking money into poor set-ups, trust me K20 has talent and hasnt made a poor tune yet!

I did have a minor tweak and that is only to squeeze out a bit more power at the cost of some slight stability - I changed Front BHA +10 (100) and Rear -5 (105) which allowed me to push ECU to (91) and Power Restrictor to (91) - ballast to 143 from 144.

This found me an extra 1.5 seconds on Watkins Glenn and and now matching the times of my GTO (Your set-up!) which I regularly win a lot of lobbys with.

Love it mate keep it up!

Glad to hear it came out well. I didn’t have a ton of time to drive it after I felt it was in a decent spot, which is why I asked for an honest review. By all means I encourage anyone trying my stuff out to make changes where you see fit, so I’m happy it was only minor tweaks to suit you better. I feel like my GTO might be one of my best builds, so if it’s keeping up with that then I’d say that’s job done. Appreciate you for giving feedback.

I’ll be posting 4-6 more builds tonight, and then I think it’s time to start working on S tires cars (600-650pp) unless someone requests a 700 setup.

this car has titanium con rods, so your tuning values may not match mine perfectly when adjusting power output

When I first put this together after being gifted the con rods I took it out for a shakedown before tuning (I do this everytime) and it felt horrible. No torq distribution felt right, brakes sucked, just an overall bad experience. After a ton of time tinkering I personally feel this just isn’t that great of a car. I could have failed to find a proper setup, but I’ve tried everything and got the same results. The reason I’ve decided to post it though is because at least with this setup it’s useable. Maybe you will feel differently than I do, or maybe do what I failed at and make this thing the monster it should be.

Mitsubishi EVO IV GSR
Widebody
17 inch wheels normal/wide
Aero: Front/side/Big wing

Just as good, if not better, than the Evo V. Top speed is limited by the high final drive, so if you need the extra MPH you can loosen the final up.
I’m still better in the V.

That said, I just had to take the IV for a 2nd run today…

I absolutely love the A70. I wish it was the 2.5R model equipped with the 1JZ-GTE, but we’ll work with what we got. I’ve tried getting this thing right a few times and never seemed to nail it. Not sure what changed in last nights tuning session, but I finally feel I pulled it off. This car is such a pleasure to drive, and it has way more pace than you’d expect! If you don’t feel like using one of the commonly used cars in the 700pp range, please give this a try because I’m sure you’ll love it. There’s a couple easy changes that can be made to allow for a good 50+ more HP or 40ish kilos to be shaved away, but this setup had a feel stability that those changes took away.

Not much to say here since the car is so stable and controllable. Perfect choice for an easy to drive but still extremely competitive FR.

np, lemme know what you think of it when you can!
I’ll test it today, just not sure when as I have a meeting in a bit. Will let you know!

Well, that was the plan anyway. I found an item I’d been wanting on Facebook Marketplace, so I drove my butt all the way across town and back, in traffic, only to discover that it didn’t work and I got scammed. I’ll get a run in tomorrow

Toyota Celica GT-Four
No Widebody
17 inch wheels, wide width/wide offset
Aero: front/side/rear/ any wing you want (wingless is fine, but you’ll have to add some ballast to bring the PP back down to 700 since high rear downforce typically lowers PP even tho it feels much more beneficial than most other settings)
Simmilar to my original build, but much more refined leading to consistently faster lap times. One nice thing about this car in general is that the Medium turbo is just as viable as the high rpm turbo. I use the medium for lower speed courses to rocket out of corners, and the high rpm turbo for all other situations.
Please excuse the awful pics. Higher quality images will be uploaded tonight
Well, I just 1-stopped Sarthe with her. I had to pull the ALS off, which allowed me to reduce some ballast and keep RM’s on for 4 laps and RS’s on for the final 3 (I also shifted the torque to 40:60 to reduce wear on the front tires). Bear in mind, had the weather been different, there likely would’ve been some 2-lap segments that would have yielded an even better FL. In a post-race economy test at FM1 (which will yield 2 laps), my opening lap was a blistering 4:07.020. Pretty darn impressive.

OK, put my adjustments on, just downforce and ballast really. It’s hard to say as I’m still adjusting to life without TCS and driving more tentatively I’m sure. My cornering performance is improving, but not quite to TCS levels yet. That said, it feels much more tame, less perilous if you will. It’s a pity the fuel economy is so bad and there’s not enough that can be done to improve it.

Chevy Camaro ZL1 1LE
Smooth sailing for an easy win. A touch of lift and coast will net 3 laps at FM6 and she can crack 2 laps and sub-4:10 at FM3/4 on her way to 2 laps. Very easy to drive RWD. Kudos!
