Here I was holding off on finalising the completion of the menu books...... more fool me.
Im at work for another 6 hours..... will try when I get home.

OK, put my adjustments on, just downforce and ballast really. It’s hard to say as I’m still adjusting to life without TCS and driving more tentatively I’m sure. My cornering performance is improving, but not quite to TCS levels yet. That said, it feels much more tame, less perilous if you will. It’s a pity the fuel economy is so bad and there’s not enough that can be done to improve it.

So, this was a long time coming.... got caught up in the engine swap bonanza.

One would think this would lead me to your LT1 tune, but this is your favourite. So here we go.

I took it to Le Mans for the cash, but first, a livery. You can find it by searching K20bones.

What a great car. I possible extended the gears too far, but on the last lap I ran FM1 with inters, and was able to top 300kph.

No oversteer. It just goes where you point it. A little understeer on inters, but the whole rain and tyre dynamic is weird anyway.

I love the way it feels. A real pleasure to drive.

Well, well, well.

What a little monster this is. Certainly can get squirrely on corner exit, but why wouldnt it with 500+HP?

It struggles under brakes. You need to break early, and then, probably even earlier.

I was going to attempt putting RH tyres on and upping the power for Le Mans, but the game will let me max it out at over 800HP and still be 680PP........ I decided to just run it as you have posted.

What a decision. Its fast as a whippet. I ran FM6 with some early shifting for the opening dry laps (3). Then I changed to IM's and TC1 (wore the RS's out completely having corner exit fun) then I pit again for RS. Fuel save on the first lap, then ran FM2 on the last lap. Managed a 3:58 with a still wet track. Incredible.

Thank you so much for trying the builds out! I'm so glad you've been enjoying them, and the next time I log on ill be applying that Evo livery because its sick!

Sooooo, about that Mini swap?
I'll be posting some more tunes tomorrow or Saturday, I've just been going through some **** and also very busy at work all week and haven't been able to post or play at all. I'll make the K20 Mini a very high prio!

Glad you like it. I always have to make a livery before heading to the track.

All my tuned cars have a livery with an homage to the tuner. As I couldnt find a decal for you, I thought the skull will be the visual homage to your tune. It'll be on all the cars I make from you.

Looking forward to more of your tunes, swaps or 600PP.

I love that, such a great idea bro. The skull is more perfect than you could imagine. My daily driver is a 2010 civic SI and people around my hometown know it’s me because I have a sticker of a skull with glasses (nickname is Bones because I was always very thin growing up, so the skull with glasses is kinda me lol).

I'll actually be posting 2 tunes for this car. Both at the 700PP level, but one utilizing no ballast and less HP, and a 2nd tune WITH ballast and more power. Personally I find both tunes about equal, but the extra power feels better on tracks with longer straights , while more twisty tracks react better to 0 ballast (This is all opinion though, so please try what you want) The car has a tendency to get very squirrely when coming off the throttle, but if you can learn to keep a minute amount of throttle on while braking, and be comfortable with a small slide on some corner entries, then this thing becomes an absolute rocket ship that has not yet found a solid rival in the 700 street car class (From what I've seen at least).

The filenames of the pictures should make it clear which tune that screen shot belongs to.

Been really busy but I believe ill be back on my normal schedule after today. If that's the case then ill be posting tunes tomorrow, the first 2 of which will be these 2 requests.
Don’t worry too much about the Mini if you’re light on time. It sounds like its pretty difficult to run that car at full power with the engine swap from everything I’ve seen recently. Appreciate ya’!

Raced it at Sarthe and won. Reserving further commentary for now as D. Weather absolutely ****ed me again and I am livid at that 'feature'. Will test again once I get the gearbox sorted as I'm sure that was a major contributing factor.

EDIT: I have the solution for the gearbox now. I'll run it again.

Anytime you're doing the gear ratio's, Always move the auto adjustment as low as possible, and then change the individual values starting from the highest gear. and work your way ack to 1st.

Well I got the gearing sorted out and while it did make the car a bit easier to drive, the game simply won’t allow me to fully realize its potential due to the faulty weather system. Its really a shame as I was definitely on target for a sub-4:00 lap today.

Unrivaled acceleration and incredible braking are also completely hampered by brutal fuel economy. In fact, I tested both for 1 lap (equal upgrades) and the C7 turns a lap with 69% remaining at FM6, the Roadster, despite weighing 460 pounds less, comes in at 63%, how does that work?

I will try again tomorrow, frustration has bested me this day.

NOTE: This is not an indictment of your tune, it gets up and goes like a bat out of Hell!

New day, new drive, more importantly, a new attitude. I didn’t try and force the car to perform in a way that it isn’t able to and the results were much more consistent. Someday, I’ll get lucky and the track will stay dry for 30 mins, today was not that day. It was all going pretty well until just before that final chicane. I hit it at the same speed and angle of attack I usually do, but upon viewing the replay, discovered I let a tire slip into the margins where it was still quite wet which resulted in a catastrophic slide that cost me my hot lap time.

As stated before, acceleration, top speed and braking are highlights of this car, cornering and throttle-mashing are not. Keep a steady pedal and be conservative in the corners and aggressive in the straights and this car will serve you well. I still don’t understand the fuel economy when compared to the ‘Vette that the block comes from, but hey, PD-logic I guess.

B32545FB-6FFA-44BE-B9D1-6AA272CED740.jpeg

Front left tire hits wet tarmac, possibly the rear as well. One slight mistake cost me an entire lap, bummer.

F8DE536C-B58D-4733-9C93-000167395CA0.jpeg

By the time this was all said and done, I was on the other side of the track, parked nose-first into the barrier, yuck!

So the GSR must stand for Gun Shot Residue, holy **** that thing is a screamer. That’s what ESPN calls an ’Instant Classic’, straight on to my favorites list! What I can’t figure out is how my overall time was so ‘low’. Very excellent tune my guy!

I need a car with a 600PP tune for Tokyo Expressway WTC600 Rain. I've spent countless hours and a ton of credits trying to find something that works and I cannot win this race to save my life.

Car is unbelievably stable 95% of the time. Like all MR2s, snap oversteer is something you have to be aware of on every corner. Unlike other MR2s though, Once this gets the engine swap and proper ballast position, its pretty easy to regain control of the car. The only situation that seems to consistently upset the car is when too much rotation is applied for too long (i.e: Going too deep into the low speed corner before the death chicane on Dragons Trail Seaside). Avoid mistakes like that and this thing is a blast to drive a highly competitive.

Not sure if there is a road car restriction on this race (Pretty sure there isn't), So I would use the Redbull JR. You can easily get it down to 600 PP and while you wont be blasting past anyone on the main straight, the tires barely get any wear and its amazing on fuel. Should be an easy win.

Nothing spectacular about this tune. Took a very long time to get it running at decent pace consistently while staying under that 700pp limit. I haven't driven it a ton since I felt I got the tune in a good place, so maybe I'm just driving it wrong. Its one of the two lol. Regardless, I figured I'd post it incase someone finds theirs completely undriveable.

Like the 991 GT3 I posted before, this thing is a grip monster. Extremely well balanced, but lacking a bit in the straights. Tracks like Barcelona, Deep Forest, and Interlagos allow this thing to really shine. Remember to keep a slight bit of throttle pressure on when mid-corner to keep the car stable.

Not much needs to be said about this animal. Its just as fast as anything else in the 700pp range. It suffers a bit from understeer on turn in, but makes up for it with amazing corner exit. Best of all is that its super easy to drive. You can lay down consistent competitive times all day long with this thing completely stress free.

Just as good, if not better, than the Evo V. Top speed is limited by the high final drive, so if you need the extra MPH you can loosen the final up.

Honestly this car is slept on. Perfect choice to beat away all those pesky GTR’s and AWD lambo’s. It’s definitely pushing the scales, but after a few laps to adjust you won’t even notice the weight.

Very similar to the ITR with the K20. Slightly quicker but not as planted. Still a solid 9/10 IMO.
