I wish I could help you bro but the SP keeps giving me the "USB error connecting to PS2" error. Stupid SP! Ill keep trying and if I get it to work I will give you what I have so far.
 
It took me about an hour to get the SP working but check your PM I will try to send you the gamesave. Also check your e-mail.
 
i just got the game, i'm at nite 4th and there is the slasher with white fto in the parking. should i just try to beat him or better i try to beat other opponents in the parking to get money before challenge the slasher?

A good way to check to see how well you will compare is by looking at the other cars specs before racing him. If you have half the power that he has then more than likely you will loose. Experience is the most important part. I used that orange car in my videos and it had just barely 306 ps and I beat cars with over 500ps with it. It was not easy but it was possible.
Also pay attention what race you are about to do. Is it FL, LF, TA........? Your cars setting are also extremly important just like when playing GT3.
This is a huge thread and finding the answers to your questions can be difficult. If you need more help just ask. Have fun because you will have way over 100 hours before getting close to the end. 👍
 
i beat the white fto slasher on night 4th, with '85 trueno:
-engine S lev 1
-transmission lev 2
-suspensions lev 2
-racing tyres F&R lev 3
i i didnt even had to finish the course, i think i've been very lucky :D
now i want to get the S13 but not yet enough money :/
 
does anyone know any codebreaker or gameshark codes cuz i dont really feel like playing the conquest mode i just wanna play around with the D1 cars thats the only reason i bought the game
 
i think i've been very luck though
he seems faster on straight, but slower in curves. u should get chance to stay close enough and pass it at hairpins then it's kinda done.
 
Unfortunately I will not have enough time to finish this game before GT4 comes out. I tried and spent a LOT of hours in KB2 but just not enough time to beat the game. I must be really really close though. Oh well mabey in another year or 2 when I am bored with GT4. :) KB2 is one of my favorite car games besides GT3. 👍
 
i didnt get chance to beat the orange 350z in first days, now seems i cant find it anymore at car parking.. will it appear again?

nvm, im on weekend days and i just found out in old post the 350z comes out only on week days.

anyone else playing again this game?
at night 9 i did beat the 2nd slasher (white supra) and unlocked iroha 1 :D
 
Started playing KB2 last weekend, been loving it since. It's one of the best racing game beside Gran Turismo! Thanks to everyone who posted tips and tricks for this game here, if not I will still be stucked in Hakone on day 55. By the way, my favorite car is the S15, it's a freaking drift machine! :)
 
Wow, a Kaido Battle 2 thread....nice I love the GRP games, nice to see, that we are a lot of fans.... do you all also like Shutoku Battle and Wangan Midnight and Battle Gear ?

thanks^^ Genkis racing games have become a fun guarantor, GT 4 sadly is not so motivating ..... There is simply no challenge anymore....too bad hope they change it...
I am really looking forward to C1 Battle and hopefully a new Shutokou and Kaido Battle in near future...

Yes, I watched the development of the D1 game over the last months, since I'm a huge fan of drifting (I've also been to the show D1 grand prix event in Odaiba, Tokyo last year...was awesome)... but I'm afraid it is a rushed game without a huge longterm motivation.... international (mailny japanese to this point) reviews are not soo good and that's why I'm not buying the game right now... perhaps a sequel or if I see it cheap on ebay in a few months.... do you have the game?
 
Does anyone have a translated guide of requirements for the other drivers? I've beaten about 348 out of 359 but I don't know where or how to find the others? Do they have to be in certain types of weather or you have to be in a certain type of drivetrain e.g FF, FR, MR? I've beaten all the D1GP cars and someone called the master lord in a red NSX.

If it helps I can go find the numbers of the ones I have left to beat.

hey im new to this forum but i need help with kaido battle 2.. i havent been playin it until now and the days have racked up to over 100! my bro and i play it from time to time but we still cant get past hakone mountain.. i dont know how to check my messages so i dont think i'll ever get past it.. can somebody tell me how to check my messages? i heard i need to beat a white FTO but i havent seen it lately.. i beat the fairlady but not the s2000.. any help for this newbie would be great.. thanks in advance
