Kaido Battle 2

Hi Everyone, I was wondering how many people would be interested in joining a Kaido Battle based forum? Featuring other games like Battle Gear Series, Wangan Midnight, Tokyo Extreme Racer Series. D1Gp and C1 GP.

PLEASE DO not delete this post. I just want to get an idea. This place is the biggest place that has an interest in Kaido Battle.

I am a fan of this game and i am creating a web site for it and the Forum.
 
i'm sure it's been talked about before... so sorry if i brought it up again. but does anyone know if momiji line will be included in kb3? thanx.
 
I think we need to create KB2 FAQ, one that can be posted here and to gamefaqs. For instance, What exactly does each sponsor give you? What cars are unlocked when? How does one tune understeer out of a AWD car?

I have 2 sponsors, BlowOff and AutoGen. What do they bring to the table? I've been unable to use any of their parts.
 
Hey,

I was wondering, how do you apply sponsor stickers once you get a sponsor?? I have their engine installed but i cant find where to put the stickers on anywhere.

I believe Blow Off gives an Engine Lvl. 3 but I'm not sure there is a sponsor called AutoGen. If you meant AutoReiffen or Auto Complete, then they also give you a Lvl. 3 engine. I'm probably wrong, but I'll double check later.

To install their parts just go to garage, tune up, parts library, and sponsor parts and just pick the sponsors. Make sure there is a yellow symbol at the bottom of the sponsors name to use their parts. If not, go to Tie-up Sponsors and do their requirements.

I agree with you on the FAQ thing, we definitely need one. Until then, if you want, I can post some of the parts that some of the sponsors gave me. (I have about 25+ sponsors).

To place stickers on your car, go to the following: grage, tune up, parts library, player's parts, equipment, dress up, sticker. (A little side note, I think only the sponsor stickers give you extra money during daytime events, the other stickers are just for show.)
 
can you make a video of a battle between a NISSAN Pulsar GTiR and MAZDA Familia GTR? That would be awsome.These cars are prety similar and were fierce rivals back in the 90s.
 
hey guys, I'm comin' to the party a little late. Still don't have my copy of KB2 yet but it's on its way! I'm gonna go skim through this thread but meanwhile, does anyone have any good sites I could check out? I guess what I'm really after are some menu translations. Although I heard you could get through the game without knowing Japanese.

The game has a lot of English, it's very easy. I don't need a translator.

damn, I just got this game and it's hella fun! I'm a little ways past beating Hakone in an S13 but I sold my Levin cuz I didn't think I needed it but I forgot about the Light Weight Category races... :grumpy:
 
had the game for a few months, finally decided to play it again, i read most of these posts and it seems tehres codebreaker cheats 4 this game? If so, could anyone help me out, school's really got my bogged down these days and I just want the money, it would be cool to see what my cars looks like, fully upgraded...GT3 was long enough and that took me a summer and i definatly can't wait til GT4 but can any1 here help me out with cheats?

Thanks alot...hopfully they'll work. Will Gameshark2 V3 work with a import game, my PS2 is modded but im not quite sure which chip, ive tried it with back-ups but it didn't work so im not sure if it will with this
 
I haven't played this since last year. I finally had a chance to get back into the game again last night and I played for about 3 hours. I forgot how fun KB2 is! I am not sure what percent I am at but I have 3 cities unlocked and well over $10,000,000. Still havent beat the Orange Nissan 250Z but thats ok im working on all the daytime event challenges and I have those most of the way finished in all 3 cities. I did the FF and the NA and also the turbo. I am going to focus most of my next few days on KB2. 👍
 
I put another 15 hours+ in KB2 this weekend and I decided to post a video of the fun. Go to "my car and game videos site" in my sig the the video is called Kaido 2 Rain. Im not sure how many hours it would take to beat this game but I would estimate well over 80-100 hours.
 
sup i just got the game and its raw i just wanted to know if anybody has a site or somthin that translate tghe menu and stuff cause when im tryin to play in conquest i have no idea wut it sayin

I added a video to my site of one of the category drift races. Go to my sig that sais "my car and game video site" . The video is called Kaido 2 rain. If you look towards the end of the video you will see backfire.
Im not sure how to read my progress yet but I have well over $50,000,000 with 12 cars in my garage.
I would estimate that I have around 30-40 hours into KB2 already.
I have the cities of Hakone, Haruna, Akagi, Ist Iroha, 2nd Iroha, Front Rokko, and Zao unlocked. Most of the first few cities are all at level 8.
I also have 6 special cars and 7 sponsors. The most I have got from a sponsor was well over $1,300,000!!!
I played for about 15+hours over this weekend. I cant believe how fun KB2 is! I would estimate it would take way over 100 hours to beat this game. Thats just an estimate though.
 
I've been playing this game non-stop since I got it. I spent a good 8 hours friday into saturday playing. I've unlocked 1st and 2nd Iroha, and I bought Suenaga's D1 s13. That car is sexy. He now drives a blue FD for RE-Amiyama. That car is even sexier. The front fenders are a work of art. I want to unlock Taniguchi, Immamura, and Ueo's cars next since those are going to be the cars I've wanted to toy around with since I found out about this game. Hopefully I'll get them soon.

I'll test out those GS cards tonight and see if I can get them working.
 
These are the highest amount of points I have got so far. Look at the money from my 8 sponsors. (correction 7 sponsors)
Just to get past this event I needed 124,000 drift points. :scared:

Dude that x8 doesn't mean 8 sponsors. It means level 8 race. Each level of race you drive in gives you x(race level) in points for your sponsor bonus. The sponsor bonus depends on how much CP each sticker location is worth on your car....

Your right I checked and I still have 7 sponsors not 8 but still close. 👍 It wont be much longer and I will have 8 sponsors. :sly:
I played a race last night against 2 other guys on the track (at the same time). That was an extremly fun race on those really really tight mountain roads.
 
Kaido Battle 2 has to be the longest and best racing game I have ever played besides GT3. I have been playing at least 5 hours every day for the last 5 days and just when I think I am getting somewhere, level 9 gets unlocked for each city. :nervous: I now have 12 of 15 sponsors unlocked. I thought for sure I would be able to beat this game before the weekend ended but its not looking that way. I just unlocked the city of ASO so that means all the cities are unlocked but now I have to beat all of them. I really cant think of any better car game that even compares to Kaido Battle 2. :) 👍

I played KB2 to death when I first bought it and managed to beat 356 of 359 rivals. I think I have 19/20 lovers as well. The day races aren't as good though. My all-conquering vehicle is a Subaru Impreza WRX Sti Spec C. 589hp, 0-100 kph in sub 2 seconds. KB got a bit forgotten when I got GTA: SA and my new DFP but I'll probably go back and finish it sometime soon.

And Camaroboy, check the used car lot every day and as soon as you see a new model NA2 NSX-R buy buy buy because these handle great and are also crushingly quick. Good against the drivers who will only race against rear-drivers as well.
