KAMAZ factory outfit Team KAMAZ-Master are the most successful team in the Dakar Rally's T4 Truck class, having won a total of 12 times.

This particular model (#506, driven by Andrey Karginov alongside co-drivers Andrey Mokeev and Igor Devyatkin) was built for the 2014 event, and packs a 16.5-litre turbodiesel V8, making 1,000bhp. The torque figure is off the scale - in the region of 2,000lbft.

Yes, it won the rally. Again.

These Red Bull-liveried trucks have quietly become somewhat of an icon in the racing world.

Sorry but I draw the line at pickup trucks and minivans. Anything else (motorbikes, trucks, boats, trains, planes) has no place in Gran Turismo. I guess if any of these had to be added however, trucks would be the only acceptable choice because they have at least 4 wheels.

The Kamaz has a whole lot more pedigree too :P

You can't possibly be saying the Volkswagen Schwimmwagen is a truck, right? It's the size of a car, has a car engine, wheels and brakes. Sorry but your comparison was a fail. Possibly even a slightly epic one at that lol

Those are "pickup trucks" or "ute" if you're from Downunder. Truck=lorry. That's why in my post I reffered to them as "pickup trucks" and not trucks. Still, this makes your comment on the Schwimmwagen even more of a fail because it doesn't even have a tub in the back for carrying loads like pickups or trucks/lorries have. Anywho, back on topic lol

This will be fun with the truck!

Imagine if I would drive it in gravel: It would be awsome and fun jumps! :D
