The problem probably is that most of these demo cars don‘t exist anymore so PD can‘t make a super ultra hyper premium model from it.
I‘d love to have the Amuse R1 and all the other tuner cars again tho :dopey:

The credits of GT Sport mention Power House Amuse, they likely worked with them to put cars on dyno to record some car sounds. Polyphony literally helmet them design the R1 bumper for the S2000, I am sure they could quite easily bring the R1 S2000 and the GT1 S2000 to the game.

There's also an Amuse decal. That's way out of the blue, when there are no S2000 or 370Z(or 380, in that regard)).

So just an aside - I have been aware of JGTC/Super GT since the early GT games (Think the first cars were introduced in GT2??) but never really watched any (for some reason ). Anyway after all the talk of the GT500 cars pace - whether its LMP1 speeds or not! (Wikipedia quotes "similar speeds to non hybrid LMP1") - I had to look on YT and see for myself and OMG these cars are fast :eek:!!

I don't know much about Super GT, so please correct me if I am wrong, but why should they be grouped with LMP2 cars as some have suggested? They race on their own right? So I think they should do the same thing GTS. If Gr2 should be saved for LMP2, then just put SGT in it's own Gr and call it GrS, or Gr500 or GrSGT or something

I know they are the fastest GT cars in the world but what I wrote stands, best place to take notice is Fuji. Best lap time of a SuperGT there is 1:27.3 by a GTR, best lap time of a LMP1 is 1:22.7 by the 919.
That is because LMP1 teams had to find four seconds a lap around Le Mans one year to the next just to stay level.

The GTA restricts GT500 going on mega spend like that.

In 2013 the fastest GT500 was 10ths off the slowest LMP1s. One year later they where faster than the Audi R18 that won Le Mans earlier in the season.

Is there a decal for Mine's? Because that's another tuner mentioned in the credits ("with the kind cooperation of Mine's Co. Ltd").

Every time we get a notice for an update every Tuesday at the end of the month, this time nothing? No maintenance notice? No tweet? Do Something! Get over your own ego PD! Silence is not an answer! Is it happening today, Yes or No?
Reference to my joke, not serious, I'll happily wait for the update

If I could decide when would the update drop I would like it on Wendesday, but oh well, it's fine if it drops on Friday. It'll be such a nice gift for my name day from you Kaz! :D
I expect it on friday as Japan doesn‘t celebrate easter anyway so it‘s just a regular day for them afaik :nervous:

Every other update so far for DLC has been a Friday so a safe bet I'd say. 👍

Na, February update was on a Wednesday. Wednesday 28th.

But it won't be tomorrow because they haven't given us the usual message about maintenance + 'there will be an update available', so still expect Friday

Was waiting for someone to quote me on that one, it was only a Wednesday because of the short month.

There's no message like usual saying

"Maintenance etc

There will be an update available during this period"

so I'm personally thinking it is safe to assume the update will be on Friday.
Probably, but FYI, the message is only displayed less than 24h before the actual maintanance so it could still come on Thursday :)

So, guys, what's next?

The fifty cars were fulfilled. We arrived in March.

What do you see later? The PD Will continue with the monthly car packages and one track? Or will we simply enter a period of recession?

I know we'll have two more cars in early April. And then?

I'm very curious.

Or will we simply enter a period of recession?

Kaz already said we should see around 500 cars by the end of all GT Sport updates. We may get more, we may get less, but the consistency over the last few months is promising of that final goal.

We'll get the Audi VGT early April (9th). We don't have a date yet for the GR Supra, as far as I know.
Other than that, I think the monthly updates will continue.

I assume we will get the GR Supra in the same update. Beyond that I agree that the monthly’s will continue. Hopefully another schedule will be released like another 50 by October or something like that!

400-500. I just say it, so not everyone hopes for the magical number of 500 :)

haha, this is my favorite theory. I don't think it's right, but holy crap do I hope you are.

Here's a quick thing I put together for that Lexus GT500 that's in contention. RC F GT500 is on top, its newer LC500 version is on the bottom.

The bulbing t he nose does towards the front is weird. It seems as if the car in the sillohuette is rotated to the left a bit. Otherwise it seems to match up. The fender flare seems more pronounced.

As it turns slightly to the left, it seems to be (and makes more sense) to be the new version of the LC 500 of the current season indeed.
