Simple tweet:
Kaz_Yamauchi: 今日から東京オートサロン開幕。グランツーリスモ・ブースはこんな感じ。 http://t.co/mor8wvc3
Kaz_Yamauchi: Starting today, the Tokyo Auto Salon raises the curtain. The Gran Turismo booth looks like this: http://t.co/mor8wvc3

So we should find out this day if the new track will be an oval or more than that.

The only speed test that is included in the pack, "Special Stage Route Oval X" is between 12km straight on one side alone, boasts a total length 30km

ONE track, one straight, but it's 30km long. I can't comprehend exactly how they can pull that off.

They don't say that there only one straight, but that the length of one straight alone on one of its sides is 12 Km.
Well I was thinking it was the only straight for top speed testing. I believe it's the only straight that we've seen, which has the Meter markings (I don't know the word for that).

In the recently released Acura NSX Concept video I believe you can see glimpses of both straights, both of which having distance markers. So it's either a "standard" elongated oval or a wedge shaped oval (with a short banked corner and a long one). The latter would be more interesting.

Hw exactly how do you steer this thing, it has no steering rack, wheres the tie-rod ends??? lol

Thirty KILOMETERS!! haha I thought about it having short and long banked corners, but it didn't really stick because I was stuck on "ONE 12km straight". It seems a lot more plausible now, since you mentioned the Red Bull cars, too. Awwwww shhhhhucks.

Lol that's the rear suspension of an F1 car.
So do you mind showing me what you would call the steering rack on that pic please?

LMFAO sorry guys I picked a picture of the web. did not notice that bit (you know being the back with engine and all). :boggled:

This IS kinda what I tried to show

Can you see what Im getting at though?

Never mind how do you steer it , but unless there is an LCD screen inside the cockpit you wouldnt be able to see where you are going.

One more tweet:
Kaz_Yamauchi: 明日というか今日、土曜日の13時から、オートサロンのトヨタブースでトークライブに出ます。スバルの辰巳さんや飯田章さんと一緒。テーマはニュルブルクリンクとのこと。

Kaz_Yamauchi: Tomorrow, or perhaps I should say today, starting Saturday at 13:00, I will participate in a live talk at the Toyota booth of the [Tokyo] Auto Salon. I will be together with Mr. Tatsumi and Mr. Iida from Subaru. The topic [of discussion] will be the Nuerburgring.

Could be a joint Sony/Toyota/Subaru purchase...

That would grant GT5 Nurburgring exclusivity.

the more I think about that the more I think it's a good idea!

Great more exclusives is just what we need...:crazy::crazy:

So we will have the ring and nissan in GT but if I want do drive road america or laguna seca with a detomaso pantera Ill have to buy forza and if I want to drive a porsche I will have to buy a need for speed game... great idea
