What do you mean? It seems fully configurable as-is. Use the Driving Force Pro settings in the options; ... and the buttons on the wheel are L1 R1 and L2 R2....

Are you sure about this? I have found no way to customize the wheel buttons on the G27. The top left is look back, and the top right is lights. Other buttons on the wheel don't work and none can be customized. I would be happy to be proven wrong.

Someone should request more custom wheel options. Seems like that would be quick and easy to add, and the available selection is really limited.

Someone should tell him to cut the crap yadda yadda talk about adding premium cars, photomode GT TV and how long it takes to make everything.

I find the guy ignorant at best. Every answer he gives is something like its posibel, it might be, we can look into it, or something along those lines.

We want to have XP & credits online, as well as time trial leaderboards, for each car induvidually, wich show wich assist was used if any. That + the ability to back up our savegames.

Thank you for translating! But I can´t believe how stupid questions he is answering...

Who the hell cares about the red bull name change thing or that its hard to make 3 point turns with the X1 and the stick...

We got much more serious problems with this game...

I agree, it seems weird that we can't compare our lap times in a certain car with the world, like in GT5 Prologue, I loved that system.. no idea why it's missing..

though this whole "game took 6 years" thing.. it's not like he worked on gt5 solid for 6 years. no way.. let's look at a time line..

2004 - December 28th - Gran Turismo 4 for PS2
-
2006 - February 2nd - Tourist Trophy - PS2
2006 - December 24th - Gran Turismo HD - PS3

2007 - December 13th - Gran Turismo 5 Prologue - PS3
-
2009 - October 1st - Gran Turismo - PSP

2010 - November 24th - Gran Turismo 5 - PS3

and in between all that he was doing real race driving, going to autoshows and giving out gran turismo awards and having lots of interviews about gt5 and attending game shows. and now answering alot of twitter questions lol. I wouldn't call him lazy.. but maybe he needs to focus more or something.. I guess if he cut out psp and a motorbike game and realeasing prologues and all that, maybe we could have had gt5 in 2008.. oh well.

Has someone here asked kaz about saving your endurance race progress? Or enabling both a-spec and b-spec modes to used at endurance races at once?

In all fairness, i was joking, but I neglected to put the "lol" smiley in.
I think that was my first 1-word post on GTP and it'll probably be my last.
Anyhoo. . .

Regarding your post in a more serious tone:

Point 1: Rendering for PC or Mac.
I don't think this will happen unless it is for low definition for short periods of time. The PS3 would not be able to handle a 3 minute replay in 1080P with its current hardware. Now something that could be done is they could develop software to view replays on a PC or Mac, then we could get the good bits with FRAPS. Only problem with that venture is it takes away from the time they could be using to fix bugs and do other cool things.

Point 2: Rewinding and/or restarting replays in the middle of them.
This i could forsee in the near future.

Point 3: Slow Motion
This i think may happen in the next update, but I don't know so don't quote it for truth, please.

I think someone already tweeted about Points 2 and 3 to Kaz, and Kaz already mentioned that Point 1 is not available because of the PS3's hardware limitations.

Better? :)

Now, thanks for your support. 👍

Let´s hope we all get real surprises in that update.
I´m really positive. :)

No no, what is really needed its a "Are you shure you want to restart" menu that pops up when you press restart during a race. I just wasted 2 1/2 hours in race only to accidentally hit the "Restart" button.:banghead:🤬

Could someone please ask if this could be possible to integrate in the near future?

I think it would be interesting if Kaz would eventually make a Gran Turismo x: Hardcore Edition. (or something like that) This would be a version where the physics are tailored to wheels and would try to rival PC sims.
I think it's a good idea at least

Sure, the 15 people that buy the game would be very happy. Sony however, would fire Kaz right then and there for wasting money on a game that won't sell.

He could easily do what he did in GT5P and offer 2 kinds of physics...

So that must mean only 15 people play iRacing. I think a hardcore simracing version would sell well but no doubt PD wouldn't make something like that as a standalone product, they would be far more likely to patch GT5 to have more options and features that appeal to this group of people or to wait until GT6 to add it.

That would be good :) Patch some hardcore physics in that would get people from iRacing to think about seriously considering GT5.

If PD would put iRacing type physics in GT5 and give me an option of which physics model to use, i would definitely stop playing iRacing. (Even though I already have stopped playing iRacing because GT5 is tooo addicting :D)

Fire Kaz....Lol.... He has brought in a couple hundred millions. Boardmember would never let him go. And trust it would be worse for us because if he had COMPLETE control over the game......Smh....We would be waiting 10 years for perfection.

Other than the fact that you can't flip over, what's different?

The cars feels lot more loose to me.

I am not and expert driver by any means, but i think there might still be some kind of assist that are imposibel to turn off when playing offline.

Try taking a car like the RUF yellowbird stock on sports hard. Offline its a bit of work to drive it, but online it is next to imposibel.

Alone the fact that it is imposibel to flip over a car in online, is enough proff that it is two different physics.

What I would really like would be the option to save up to 10 online race settings. In other words each time I play with my friends, and we change race, we need to modify settings all the time, wasting time.
If I had the chance to save let's say Suzuka, Ferrari F40 only, medium race tires, no TCS..etc... and put a name on this saving... the next time I just have to recall it from a list and everything is set up.

I think it is also a pity we cannot have three saved tuning settings 'groups' as we had in Prologue. Possibly a user defined comment per each group.

great thing!!
Now... it's time for many of us to tweet him constantly about hood view for standard cars... I think they didn't notice it
The so-called "bumper cam" is already from about the driver's head position (just centered horizontally relatively to the car), the only thing is that the 3d model of the car is not drawn. So for all purposes, the "bumper cam" in GT5 is already essentially a "hood cam".

Sorry, what is PP?

PP = Power Points. It's very similar to what Forza has. In GT5P you could add and subtract power and weight, adjust gears, ride height and other things in the PP menu. Having something like this in GT5 would make for a better online experience and would also help with setting up race series as you could just say, "This class is at 700PP, this class is 500PP and whatever." It's a way to make the cars in the race a bit more even.
