I think he's (Kaz) much more sly than that. He's being coy about it. That is he going to not only going to change the standards to premium, but also add new ones.

As much as Kaz is pushing the PS3 - it's bricking some of the old PS3s.

My PS3 got debricked by changing the thermal compound (and using a heat gun).
The thermal compound Sony use is just a waste of money. I was lucky to get 3 and half years out of mine. and now I have a few more years.

Well if i was Kaz id be embarrased with how the game was released.

Im enjoying it a heck of a lot, but with all this updating and patching, its just proving that it was rushed out of the door, and not the perfect game we were lead to believe it would be.

Forza AI is nothing special unless you like being able to make them drive even worse by setting them to medium or easy. On the Hardest settings they compare pretty closely with GT imo. Like GT they will slam you from behind and run you off the road quite often and like GT once you know the car and the track they do not stand a chance even on the hardest level.

I haven't had too many AI drivers hit me from behind in GT5. If they do, it's usually when I brake WAY too early for a corner. Which, by the way, I've seen happen in real life. Usually it takes both cars out of the race, though and both drivers are pissed. However I have not played FM3 and probably never will, as there's just not a lot of Xbox exclusives that really make me want to go out and buy a 360.

So, I don't know if FM3's AI is better or not. But that wasn't my point. I've played a lot of racing games and, so far, GT5 has the best.

Well i love hearing that we may see more premiums and/or standard converted to premiums, but i hope @Kaz haven't forgotten about the "late December" patch, with online leaderboards and backup of save data, and probably some more.

That would be great.
I hope we will be able to filter leaderboards with all sorts of parameters - I'd hate to only be able to see the fastest cars' times.

Indeed, and i hope it's possible to post laps with tuned cars as well, a system similar to Forza would be great. But i don't mind a separate board for tuned and stock cars, as long as it's possible to post laps with both kinds.

Kazunori Yamauchi's cars as of march 2008.. could have more by now but.. here's what he said.

Right now I have 6 cars in my garage

I have one heavily modified 350Z, it took more than a year just to do the bodywork.

I also have an S2000, this is another track only car, with a full carbon body, it only weights about 930kg. suspension is from Amuse and the body was done by Opera Performance.

what else do I have?.. a Mercedes, the Mercedes SL55 is my daily driver.

I also own a Porsche GT3, this car was a benchmark that I had set for myself when building the 350Z, I think the Z's performance is very close to the GT3 now.

Ford GT, I have two of them, one white and one gun-metal, the white car, you know the ford gt that appears at the opening of GT4? I wanna build mine just like that, I'm thinking about installing a carbon monocoque .

Yeah. I'm expecting it to be released on Saturday or Sunday. Although, it might be released on Monday along side DLC codes for GT Academy participants.
