^And what does this get you?
100 Billion Dollors! Muhahaha. Okay now time for a little background on Kei Cars :dopey:

In Japan, a category calls K-Car was established since the mid-80s. Cars with dimensions fall within 3300mm of length and 1395mm of width, with engine capacity not exceeding 660c.c. (original regulation was 550c.c.) and max. output not exceeding 64 hp will be benefited by lower tax. Nearly all car makers build such cars because they suit big city like Toyko very well - easy parking, need not to be fast because of traffic jam.

Based on this dimension, most K-cars use space efficiently by locating the wheels right at the corners, then extend the height which is not restricted by the regulation. Power all come from 4-valves engine, some even with turbocharger and intercooler to compensate the lack of capacity. The main selling point is price and running cost, but fun factor is also important. Recent K-Cars usually offer Recreation Vechicle-like cabin layout flexiblility plus a lot of storage space and funny styling. Most customers are young people.

In recent years, K-Car sales boomed because of economic depression. Suzuki Wagon R and Daihatsu Move both ever topped the domestic sales chart, beating the mighty Toyota Corolla. Since 1999, the regulation was loosen further to 3400mm length and 1475mm width, hopefully K-Cars will be more popular and they will send pink vitz's over to the US! :dopey:

I don't live in the US so i'm not gonna try to shatter your dream of a pink Vitz. But why would you RACE these cars. Seeing they're cheap and small, in real life maybe i'd buy one. In GT4 you can race cars at 250 mp/h why would you bother?

i think Kei Cars are awesome i'd love to race a real March Z-Tune. I guess to some people power isn't what its all about its all about driving technique . Its the driving experience and ability to make/drive a slow car fast rather than make/drive a fast car faster...thats too easy. I'm a hands on type of guy and i like the challenge. Don't get me wrong i like fast cars and making them stupid fast to 500bhp~800bhp and not be able to use its full potential 80% of its daily driven life span...but...i guess everyone has their prefrences.

Because in GT4 you have to complete the Kei races to get to the Enduros? IMO if you're gonna have to race it, may as well embrace the challenge of getting some performance out of it (driving and tuning). I'd argue that having to do a truck race is much lamer than the Kei's but whatev; that's the game so I'm gonna play it...

Most important thing to do - buy soft tires - will work dreams.

I did not change default settings but did buy a hp upgrade (can't remember which one).

Im a K car fan too. My favorite car early on was the cappucino, mostly because it was uber-cheap and won me a lot of early races. Right now, my favorite K cars are the Daihatsu Copen and the Toyota Sports 800. The Honda S500/600/800 series (especially the Honda S800 Race Car!) is fantastic, but Im not sure that they technically qualify?
