We had a fantastic first showing.
This week's theme will be vintage.
Imagine you are sifting through boxes in your attic, when lo and behold you find a dusty box labeled 'photos.'
As you sort through the old pictures, your grandfather walks up to you and tells you a story of how he used to (insert cool story here).
Ok, so the challenge is give me a muscle car photo in which it looks old and real. Photoshop may be used. There are various ways to achieve this. You can simply do black and white, which will specify to me that this picture was taken by a professional photographer. The framing and quality better match this, then. Keep in mind a pro photographer is not gonna bother taking nice pictures of a crappy car in a crappy setting.
You can also add noise in PS, add holes, burn or water marks, etc etc but none of that is NECESSARY....just icing on the cake. Don't add it for the hell of it, use it sparingly/wisely. The great thing is that by adding noise to a B&W photo, the original quality doesn't have to be superb.
If you insist on doing color, the color MUST be in technicolor style, so it looks like it's from the 60s or 70s.
Eligibile cars are anything before 1980. 1979 is 👍 ; 1980 is 👎 .
Again, 5 photos per participant. This comp. ends June 25th around 3PM.
Examples of eligible photos (latter one being edited by melaniemoon if memory serves me right)
