Kermit's Super Formula Street Circuit Cup - Finished

Sorry about that @GOTMAXPOWER I didn’t realize I was that close when when started warming up the tires. I’ll be more careful next.
It's my fault, you were driving in a straight line and I turned into you. It's one of those things, you have to be careful but need tyre heat for turn 1 too.

Can’t quite believe how fast you were last night @GOTMAXPOWER. You were absolutely flying 👍
The party button is awesome, because it was a long lap it was easily worth 2 seconds if you held it down all the way around, a 2:24 could've been possible in the qualifying race

Lol just watched the main event replay, the full lap 6, I did with a buggered engine.
Would appreciate some pointers if anyone has the time, think my best laps were 11 & 12, had mistakes in every lap from being to lax with some and over trying with others lol.
I was on TCS 2 & BB2.
Think I did OK in race 1 considering I was on TCS 0 and should have been on TCS1. :D

You should get no party button, I dont think I could run a 2:31 if it was taped down. :D

How about the top 3 get success ballast? Say maybe 500 pounds for each podium until the field evens out??

When I did the run through of all the tracks before we started, my Bathurst time was a 1:43.0, and I had no idea where to find any more. Yet this morning, I found 1.3s on that, with an Optimal of 41.3! Where did the 1.7s come from, I have no clue?

The reverse grid is in effect the ballast system. If the top half the field hadn’t been collected in the start accident, race 1 and the grid for race 2 would’ve been a lot different. The rolling start instead of grid start for race 1 should help stop this.

This will be a fun race, I'm only 4-5 seconds slower than you so far. If things stay on track you will get faster and I will get slower. Can't wait. :banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead:

#### Round 2 - 17th October - Race Entry List Open ####
Hi all, the Race Entry List is now open for those that wish to reserve their spot early. As usual any available spaces will be offered to our Reserve Drivers Friday evening. Please acknowledge your attendance and I will add you to the list.

Round 1 Results and Championship Standings have been updated on Page 1.

I mentioned a few changes i was going to make after Round 1 just to improve the experience for all involved. I haven't yet updated the procedures but i will do so this week. Changes below:

- Qualifying Race (race 1) will now be a rolling start following an accident involving multiple cars in round 1.

- Accidents during SC due to excessive weaving / poor driver awareness - Anyone who picks up damage during a SC will not be able to call another SC and will have to continue with damage or pit under green running. Its not fair on the rest of the field to be held under SC due to poor driving. If ALL drivers could allow more space between cars during SC, keep weaving to a minimum (use 3rd person if possible as this allows a better view around your vehicle) and remember that SF cars don't have brake lights, i don't see why we should have any problems.

- SC Major Damage Only - The biggest change to allow more green running is to make the SC an option, not a necessity, after an accident. If a driver picks up minor damage but is happy to continue, no SC is required. If a Driver picks up major damage and needs to pit for repair, then SC must be called as soon as possible.
- Minor damage example - Wing damage but car feels ok.
- Major damage example - Any engine damage or wheel / suspension damage where the car is pulling to one side
- One final reminder that if 1 driver crashes into the back of another, the car ahead will receive engine damage where as the car behind will only receive front wing damage. Please be extra aware of this and allow adequate space from the vehicle ahead.

Hopefully that makes sense and we can enjoy some more SF madness :D. Official Free Practice will be Thursday Evening 23:00uk / 18:00 est

I'll be racing 👍.

I will be there!

If I accidentally hit you causing major damage (as described above) please call me out and I will pit behind you. If I knowingly hit you expect me behind you in the pits. I think it is only fair since I probably cost you a good finish. [ I know I hit 1 driver last race - again Sorry. ]

So far in my practices I have got the AI cars timed and haven't had too many problems. But they are predictable and you all are not. I still enjoy the "maximum damage" option. It is a cool feature.

Enjoy your practices and see you there!

I wouldn’t worry too much @Timm Sheehan, the sportsmanship is greatly appreciated though.
There were multiple collisions under SC in round 1 which isn’t great if we want more green running.
Accidents happen and that’s part of racing, I just wanted people to be more aware for next time so we can enjoy the SC rather than it become a burden.
I’m looking forward to Mount Panorama, it’s going to be awesome .
