I'm left with having to LIKE everyone's posts and repeating them. For a game squeezed into the PS3 and somehow looking and behaving relevantly to the next gen of PC racers (sounds aside) is simply unbelievable. Breathtaking achievement. And with updates, it's only going to get better, and better, and...

So this is my mini-review of GT6:

Wait for it...

I'm digging GT6 alot. It's as if it's been made for fans of GT rather than trying to pander to newbies. It reminds me of GT3/4. I feel so much more involved playing it and it's like so much more thought and attention was given to this version!!!!

Thanks PD!!!!

I am so damn excited for the Vision GT concepts, the DLC cars and the new tracks. Hell, I can't even wait to get the faster cars! Great track and cars selection, and amazing job on the physics. So much fun.

GT6 is exactly how I expected to be. Fun and have a great variety of events, cars, tracks with weather changes, and(my favorite) Coffee Breaks! Great Job PD! You guys never let my expectations down! 👍 :)

I have a 60gb, the one that plays ps1/2 games and it works perfectly!
Thanks, I think mines an 2008 and I dont know if it reads ps2/1 discs
I dont want to have to buy a new ps3 If can help it.

Something told me my excitement for GT6 will pay off well. After getting the game yesterday, playing it from that day and today this morning, I have to say. I. Am. Amazed!

The new UI is much more organized and easy to navigate through. Loading times are much more quicker now which puts a big smile on my face. And that quick menu is really helpful too. :)

The new physics. Oh my lord the physics! I am in love with it. The cars themselves feels much more lively now than they did in GT5, which gives that feel of fun driving them! Can't wait to see what new cars and VGT cars are going to be added via DLC. (^v^)

The new cars and old cars are crazy everywhere in the dealership, there are like hunderds of manufacturers in the game I can't begin to collect all first. It feels so much better that there's no USD in the game, I really disliked in GT5 where I wanted said car, only to wait for like a month later and don't have the money to buy it. Really glad there all in one dealerships. :)

The new tracks are some of the best choices PD made. I love Brands Hatch and Goodwood. Mostly every new track that were added to the game, and think when you had enough to enjoy, there's track DLC planned. Man, I can't wait to see what tracks PD has planned! :D

Day/Night cycle and weather are much better too. I can't help but keep looking at the new dynamic clouds everytime I drive my cars, there so realistic looking and candy to the eyes. The clouds also make some old tracks feel new as well. When set to sunrise or sunset, I can't tell how amazed I was when I saw it, my jaw just dropped. :embarrassed:

There's so much variety in career mode and is very organized than GT5. Coffee Breaks makes a great return with fun and challenging events, same with mission races and one make races. Special Events are also fantastic. The Goodwood Events was so much fun, but I should've practice first before entering since I've failed by crashing into walls and going off track. :P The Lunar Rover event is some of the funnest events I have ever experienced in a racing game. It felt like I was really driving in space due to how hard it was to keep the Lunar from rolling over (even though I have many times and gave me good laughs too ).

The music in the game is candy to the ears. Unlike in GT5, GT Auto's music actually sounds like GT Auto. The menu music is so relaxing, some songs at times makes me feel like sleeping of how good it sounds, talk about chill music. :) My most favorite is in My Garage, I always hum to it a lot. :D

My gripes are sounds (which don't really bother me but will be nice to give them an update). The AI are rather slow (even though they speed ahead but slow down after) and they keep ramming me. Don't really like that SRF is forced on in License Tests and Goodwood Events, but for some odd reason in the Goodwood Event, some cars actually have torque steer even with it on, such as the Alfa Romeo TZ3 Stradale and Aston Martin One-77. o_O

Other than that, I am in love with GT6, and love the fact that it's focused on fun and realism than serious like GT5. Kudos to PD indeed, they did a fantastic job with GT6 and I thank them so very much. My faith in Kaz and PD is really strong. Also. GT6 welcomes new and old fans alike to the GT franchise and to it, which I really like. GT6 is basically a celebration of its 15th anniversary, and it invites everybody who are young and old to its birthday party. It loves them all, and hopes they enjoy the party and get to meet others from the past and present. That, is probably why I feel GT6 is the best racing game of this generation, in my opinion of course.

Can't wait to see new features added in via update.

I'm really happy coffee breaks are back. And I love how i can go off-roading at willow springs. AND the game was released on time with no delays.

I have said it and I will say it again. I was very critical of GT5. Very critical. To the point that I stopped playing after 3 weeks. After logging 15 hrs of GT6, I can say that PD redeemed themselves with me. Career Mode was the most important aspect for me. It is much deeper now. Not to mention what dlc will bring. It appears that they can add events very easily via patches and updates. Not so good for people without internet unfortunately.

I can't wait to see what's in store for GT6. It is indeed what I expected GT5 to be. I have been playing since GT1 so I know what GT stands for. GT4 is the standard for me. It was the deepest GT to date. Now with technology in its advance state, GT6 can go beyond that hopefully. Whatever they do for GT6 will be the plateau now for current and next gen GT titles.

PD keep your word and give us the monthly dlc as mentioned and you will make many many people happy. You all can earn a lot of money in dlc if you give it. I hope you all see that we valued all the original GT tracks along with real world tracks. You make it and we will buy it. Just make sure you add them to career mode. After several dlc tracks have been added, it would be nice if you all make brand new events via patches/updates. Hint, Hint:Midfield, El Captain, Seattle (make them first). Thank you for bringing back Apricot Hill. Midfield, Apricot Hill, El Captain and Infineon where the ones I missed most in GT5.

I'm starting testing for the return of my Miata online league, and just did 12-14 laps at Apricot hill with a day to night time change in a Miata Touring Car with SS tires and a supercharger installed. It was seriously a life changing experience.

I just played this game for 8-9 hours straight today and stopped a few hours ago and holy cow is all I have to say. I love this GT so much, the fun of Gran Turismo is back with a vengence. There's a great mix of difficulty, the graphics are beautiful and while there are standard cars still; some of them are even beautiful like the Ford RS200 or Nissan R390. The AI even seems a bit better and some of the AI drivers even give me trouble. The improved physics really increase the fun of driving as well.

There's also some small things about that game that I love, such as the multiple options for rims or that they finally allowed me to remove a spoiler. I can also finally paint an original Dodge Viper GTS and it'll keep the stripes.

Honestly, I think this might become my new favorite GT title. It's turning out that way. Especially since there's still things to come in terms of dlc & updates.
