Seriously, my g/f just likes it if I don't stink.

I mean she likes it when I smell good, but as long as I don't smell like crap or Axe, I'm ok.

Axe is an anti-perspirant you guys know that right? That's what I have anyhow. I use Axe Pheonix stick. Deodorant & Anti-Persprant

Yeah, I knew that, but that is not what Axe/Lynx is marketing their product as.

Their commercials are littered with women being attracted to men only by their scents, just like cologne. Unfortunately, in the real world, Axe/Lynx seems to be a repellent of women.

I believe I am the first woman to respond. Here is what most women, including myself, think...

Take a shower. You don't need any cologne. Even try to stay away from deodorant that has a strong scent. I LOVE the clean, natural smell of a man. To take it a step further, use a good moisturizing soap or body wash. Nothing worse than a man with dry skin.

Some colognes are nice, but it all depends on the person's body chemistry. There are some perfumes I love to smell out of the bottle, but they do not work when I use them. If it works for you, use it, if not...please just take a shower.

Axe sucks. I hate it. There I said it. I've had two cans of it and although I have this irking character trait of not being able to simple throw things away, I really wish I could just throw my remaining half a bottle of Phoenix Axe out! I just hate wasting things. Especially if they were bought for me.

I also tried Voodoo (first time I bought it to try it out, smelt good at the store, got sick of it the next day). It wasn't the greatest either, but miles ahead of Phoenix. Out of all of them I would say the best of the bunch is Kilo (because it's more subtle and not so overpowering), if I HAD to choose one. But that's not saying much because I think the whole bunch is sour anyways.

I agree with the previous poster. I know most women just love a clean guy with a nice subtle smell that's not to overpowering. You gotta lighten up on it and not use so much. Unfortunatly some of these things are so robust one spray is even to strong. When I test out Eau de toilettes, colognes, and all that good stuff I always test the potency of it. I myself have never had a complaint with my Swiss Army or even the nice and cheap CK Gender2BU.

So in short don't go for body spray guys, it doesn't work.

I use it after I come out of the gym since there are no showers there and I don't feel like smelling up my truck on the drive home. Most of the time however...well when I go to work at least, I wear Ambercrombie and Fitch cologne. My girlfriend loves how I smell with it on and she keeps buying it for me so I wear it.

It's a real small one on the campus of my college. There are showers but they are quite a hike to go get to them. I could go to the bigger one but I prefer the smaller one since hardly anyone is there.

Ewww...campus gym showers. I don't blame you. (Also...the showers are unisex at my college. I've seen the guys walk around peeking through the curtains.)

Yep, and your mama loved it too. As a matter of fact, she bought some for herself so she could remember me. Scent is the strongest sense tied to memory right!

Oh, by the way, I left my watch on her nightstand. Can you tell her I need it back? :sly:

You like old ladies? - whatever floats your boat.

She found your Timex, she was going to post it back but the stamp was going to cost more than the watch was worth so she just chucked it. :sly:
