Ahhhh mystery solved.... controlers bust .
Controller trigger is giving about 80% throttle

Doh

Stopped controlers and gained the time

Spent all morning playing with super settings .
Just can't squeeze it under the 2min mark .
Really surprised at how much ride hight effects it all in gt7 . So used to how low can you go but feels very different in gt7 vs others .

Set ups for aston that broke the sub 2min marker
And my supra if it helps anyone.

I win this in my R8 Evo, Subaru, and 458. Though not all the time. The RCZ and Renault RS always lose pretty badly. I run stock cars or simply use ballast when needed, no power restrictor. I make a few adjustments but not many. I run 2 minute laps with an occasional 1:59. And to be honest it feels like the AI just gives up for me when I win. I never feel that my driving won the race.

I'm guessing you need to run the 1:58.5 that earns gold for circuit experience in order to really beat them.

Also upping the intitial torque on the LSD may help, as the track has a lot of undulation. I run mine around 23. Hope this helps.
