Jahgee1124: First off thank you for your attempts to clear this up. While you are correct that your mom qualifies for it as per the ground rules I laid out the problem I have is my intent was to help educate newer members about the benefit of having a thumbdrive along with giving them a decent car to play or trade with. Since your mom has you to borrow cars from I have mixed feelings about sending her the car. The other aspect is how do we know she truly plays the game and that this isn't a cheap way to get the car for nothing? There have been quite a few scammers on GTPlanet lately and while I normally try to keep an open mind sometimes things make me hesitant to want to trade due to too many question. What also doesn't help is your comment about having a full sending schedule. Did you read all the rules? One of them requires the recipient to send a copy of the car back. Since the one a day sending limit is per PS3 and not per account if she is on the same PS3 as you are then how would she be able to send a copy of it as per the rules? So as of now I have no other choice but to pull her from the list as too many flags have been raised.
I was going to make a suggestion that maybe I could ask one of the winners to send it to her instead of me and then she could send it to me but when I saw your comment about the busy trading I put that idea on hold. If you can show me that she can send a copy of the car (as per the rules) then I will ask the winner of the car to send to her and not me. Does that sound fair enough to you?

He deleted his own data (still not sure why but it was on purpose) lol, dont mean to be a pain but if your just looking to dupe the car with someone then i can help probably tomorrow with the saleen, or i could get it and paint it in DLC colours of your choice and send it back?Seeing as how there is no need to "delete" anything in the first place when doing this I have yet to figure out how anyone can screw this up and do that to begin with.

As some friendly advice when your doing a giveaway try not to put restrictions on it and definitely don't try to teach people to do something, its just not going to work, to put it bluntly people just want a free car, they don't want to be offered a free car on the condition the spend their money on a USB flashdrive (which would make the car no longer free
), again this is just some advice from my experience. If im still wrong and still dont understand the OP then sorry but you know why lol.
Maybe pull the plug on the idea but still do a giveaway?

Okay, it sounds like both of you are willing to send the car you get from me to the other person. If I'm wrong please let me know. I have the FR from Born2ShootYou. Hazard2health, when you get a chance if you could send a FR to both myself and Born2ShootYou that would be great. I will PM Born2ShootYou's PSN user name in a few minutes. I will be sending the S7 to Born2ShootYou in about 20 minutes. The Diablo will go out to Hazard2health the same time tomorrow evening. To make sure all is clear about who sends what to who here's a recap:
The S7: First goes to Born2ShootYou. Then Born2ShootYou sends a copy of the S7 to Hazard2health. Hazard2health, when you get the S7 your job is to send a copy of the S7 to me. That's it for the S7.
The Nomad Diablo: The Diablo first goes to Hazard2health tomorrow evening. Then Hazard2health sends the Diablo to Born2ShootYou. Once you get it Born2ShootYou, your job is to send a copy of it to me. Then that wraps up the Diablo.
If anyone has a problem with the above steps please tell me.
Now for how I like to do the duping trick. This works with anything tradeable (i.e. tickets, cars, paint):
USB Thumbdrive instructions:
1.) Start GT5 up and go in to GT Mode. Make sure you have everything current (i.e. download any gifts you want before backing up your save file). Then quit the game and go back to the PS3 menu.
2.) Plug the thumbdrive in to one of the USB ports on the PS3.
3.) Select the "Save Data Utility (PS3)" option from the "Game" menu.
4.) Now you should see the save files from all your PS3 games. Highlight the GT5 file and press the triangle button. Select "COPY" from the menu (with the X button) and when it asks where you want to copy it to select "USB DEVICE (Storage Device)". If the PS3 does not show a USB Device (Storage Device) option then unplug your thumbdrive for a few seconds and plug it back in. After telling it the destination to save at it will ask you to confirm the copy command twice. Select yes both times. Now your save file should be backed up on to the thumbdrive. If you're not sure go back to the menu that had the save files from all your games. Near the top of the list will be the "USB Device (Storage Device). Select it with the X button and highlight the GT5 save file. The time stamp on it should be within a minute or two of the PS3's current time. If you don't see a GT5 file within the "USB Device (Storage Device)" then it didn't work and you need to start this step all over again.
5.) This step in not a requirement but is highy recommended as a way to back up your save file in case your thumbdrive fails. If you don't want to do this then skip to Step 6.
Here's what I like to do as an extra precaution. Once you are sure you have your save file backed up to your thumbdrive transfer the thumdrive over to your computer and plug it in to a USB port on your computer. Then from your computer bring up a folder showing the files on the thumbdrive and copy the folder title "PS3" from the thumbdrive to your computer. After you do that close the file window and remove the thumbdrive from the computer and plug it back in to the PS3. Now you have a failsafe in case the thumbdrive fails on you or you delete the wrong file by mistake (don't laugh, I've seen several people on GT Planet begging for cars due to deleting the file by mistake).
6.) Now go back to the game menu and start GT5 again. Go in to GT Mode as you normally would and gift (i.e. send) what ever item(s) you want to. When you are done quit the game again and go back to the PS3 game menu.
7.) Select the "Save Data Utility PS3" option again but this time go right to the "USB Device (Storage Device)" and select it. Highlight the GT5 save file and press the triangle button. Select "COPY" and then select yes (twice). When copying from the USB thumbdrive the PS3 will not ask you to select a destination for the copy. If it asks you to select a destination after selecting "COPY" then you are trying to copy the wrong file.
8.) After selecting "Copy", then answering Yes twice, you should now have your backed up save file that was on the thumbdrive transferred back to the PS3. Start the game one more time and go in to GT Mode. Once there go in to your garage and look for the car you just sent. It should still be there but it might be missing it's thumbnail image. Highlight the car and press the triangle button, then select "Create Thumbnail". If the car is still in your garage then that's it, you're done. Go back to playing the game as normal.
That's all there is to it. It sounds like a lot when you read it but after you do it a couple times you see that it's really pretty easy to do. Also, even when you're not trying to duplicate cars or tickets it's still a good idea to back up your save file every few days in case your PS3 fails. Is this Jahgee1124? If so you have yet to answer my key concern. You said yourself that you could not send your mother a copy of your S7 because you were too busy with other trades. If you are booked as far as sending stuff then how can your "mother" send a copy back as per the rules since you guys are on the same PS3? As I said I was willing to try to get a copy to you and you were online well before I closed the offer to entries. But since you never answered that one key issue you left me no choice. As I said you were online long before I closed this deal (even gave you an extra hour to reply just in case you answered the question) but since you didn't answer the most important question of all I thought you had taken yourself out of the running.

Well, looks like the ball is in your court. I sent you the Diablo yesterday and Born2ShootYou sent you the S7. You were supposed to send the Diablo to Born2ShootYou last night yet it does not appear to have happened yet. If there will be a delay please let us know. As it stands I've sent you 3 messages via PSN since last night and have not heard back from you. Please don't leave us hanging. If something has come up and least let us know.

Well, looks like that was a false alarm. Turned out he was afraid he might lose his save file if he didn't do it right and was hesitant about doing it. After I calmed his fears I thought we were good to go but then he told me "will have to wait till this evening after reset because I guess I used my send with my other account".
Then just before reset time he informed me he had track practice to go to and would send the car to the other winner when he got back home if he had time. Guess this giveaway is a little more trouble then I thought it was.

Its a great thing your doing (or trying to, as it were) but there is 2 other threads on the front page alone with him owing people cars and not sending. and I know of 2 other threads (my own being one) where as soon as they mentioned he send first, he stropped responding to them. I hope you did a back up is all I can say.
