If people will pay, why not? For people that don’t want to succumb to a Urus and still arrive in low hip height style.

Nope.

Just another one of those cars similar to what Porsche does where it slots between the hardcore model & another model, so it's the "blend" of the two. This is between the RWD Huracan & the STO, but has the STO's engine turned a smidge down. Or as I saw another person say, it's the GTC Viper to the ACR, similar, just more comfortable for the streets.
 
I love that the Sian's DRL headlight assembly was slapped on and it completely works. :lol:👍
 
Yeah I think it takes a lot of paperwork and testing for headlights to be road legal depending on the country
Would put money on it you're absolutely right. Reminds me of this special edition R8.

They only built 24 of them, so odds of seeing one were super-rare anyway, but this particular model was not available to any lucky US buyer because of its laser headlights.
 
Sterrato debut, the last pure ICE Lamborghini

The Sterrato has a modest 1.7-inch suspension lift over the Huracan Evo.

In addition to being taller, the Huracan Sterrato is also slightly wider. The track is stretched 1.2 inches in the front and 1.3 inches at the back, and of course it's all-wheel drive. 15-inch brakes with six-piston calipers provide stopping power at the front, with 14-inch discs and four-piston calipers at the rear. They are tucked behind 19-inch wheels shod with a special set of Bridgestone Dueler AT002 all-terrain run-flat tires, made specifically for this car. They're still low-profile 40-series rubber, but there's at least a little more sidewall for protection and comfort when venturing off-pavement.

The tires also offer a bit more bite in the dirt, which is important when you have 602 horsepower (449 kilowatts) and 413 pound-feet (560 Newton-meters) of torque to play with. That's the rating for this version of Lamborghini's 5.2-liter V10, sending all that power through a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox. When the grip is plentiful, the Huracan Sterrato will reach 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.4 seconds and continue on to a top speed of 162 mph.

That's further evidenced by the Sterrato's visual appearance. Aluminum underbody panels protect vital portions of the powertrain. It also gets reinforced sills and a relocated air intake at the back of the roof, designed not for deep-water fording but to pull in clean dust-free air. It's impossible to miss the bold fender arches and auxiliary lights on the nose, and moving inside you'll find exclusive Verde Sterrato Alcantra upholstery with new graphics on the touchscreen. There are also several off-road-focused instruments including an inclinometer, pitch and roll indicator, steering angle indicator, and more.

Lamborghini will build 1,499 units for the world, with production starting in February 2023. Pricing will be announced later.

Huracan successor coming in 2024 will be a hybrid


The Lamborghini Huracán's successor will arrive at the end of 2024, CEO Stefan Winkelmann confirmed to press during a presentation attended by Road & Track on Friday.

"At the end of 2024 a completely new Huracán will come to market," Winkelmann said.

The Lamborghini CEO told a crowd of journalists at a preview event for the Aventador successor in Sant'Agata the Huracán's replacement, due at the end of next year, will be a plug-in hybrid. This tracks with the confirmation Winkelmann made in 2021 when he told us all of Lamborghini's lineup will be hybridized by 2024.

Winkelmann did not share any additional details, so it's unclear whether the hybrid power will be paired to a refreshed version of the current car's V-10 or an alternative internal combustion solution. Motor Trend claims the upcoming car will use a twin-turbo V-8, though nothing's been confirmed, so who's to say just yet.

Curiously, I don't think we've seen any prototypes or mules running around yet, unlike the Aventador successor, which we began seeing 2 years before the impending release
