Well, thats one Licensing issue solved. I'm actually for the first time hoping Porsche is in GT now and I haven't really cared about that for quite some time.

Well PD did try to get Porsche on board, theres a 996 hidden on the Japanese disc.

As we talk about Bugatti and Lamborghini being the first time in GT, I have something for you. :sly:
On one German ps2 disc of the official ps2 magazine (OPM2-ops2demo-10), there was a 30 mins feature on the "fresh" GT3 and on two occasions, where Yamauchi would talk about the models of the game, you could clearly identify the fully modeled, but not texturized model of the Lamborghini Diablo (1990) and one lattice model of the Bugatti EB110. I wonder what happened to them...:confused:

I really hope that PD gets the EB110 into GT5, it would be easy for many people to overlook it becuase of the showstopper that is the Veyron...
but the EB110 is special to me:dopey:

You wouldnt need to put it into the retail version then. ;)
They clearly wanted to put Porsche and Lamborghini in there but there was an issue with the licenses short before the release (as you can see in Alex's pics, they even modeled an EB110 so...).

Haven't they already said it's not going to be the only Lamborghini?

Yup.

* 2009 Bugatti Veyron
* 2002 Enzo Ferrari
* 2008 GTbyCitroen
* 2009 Nissan GTR V-Spec
* 1974 Lamborghini Countach LP400 (more Lamborghini’s are also coming)

I do not like that kind of secrecy it might be the only Lamborghini on GT5. :nervous:
Or you might be right about the newer models idea.💡

Breathe deep. Ask yourself, has PD spent all their time acquiring Lamborghini for one model; the Countach? No. Breathe deep once again. There you go.

Anyone else slightly worried about the fact that the only shots we have about Lambos seem to all be about the Countach?

No, I'm not worried. I'm not nervious at the slightest bit about only seeing one model from Lamborghini. I think you are jumping to conclusions just a little bit. Just because we have only seen one model does not warrent that it'll be the only model so relax abit.

Also Strittan, you mind backing off the negativity for a while? Its not healthy for you.

Besides which, we don't even know what the final car list for GTMobile is. It's been said already that all the cars in Mobile will be available in 5. So hold your horses on the lone-Lambo-theory until we have a g*ddamn car list, which is as elusive as the Maserati/Koeniggsegg/Porsche & release date.

The fact is that there are so many GT PSP screen shots and i see the same cars... how are there supposed to be 800+, and ive seen like 6 shots of the countach and by simple probability we should have some of the others too...

Awesome, the 25th Anniversary one is much better looking than the LP400 IMO.

As enthusiastic as I am to see Lamborghinis feature in GT5, if Polyphony do what they always seek to do in making the cars as true to life in terms of performance and handling, then apart from some of the modern cars we are likely to be disappointed.

Pretty much all their cars up to the Diablo, perhaps with the exception of the Miura were dogs to drive, over stylised but very poorly engineered - the Countach is the worst culprit here.

Lamborghini always tried to convey an aloofness to taking their cars racing. It was more pragmatism really, he knew they would be a long way from competitive. Better to not compete than compete and be embarrassed.

The way we have gotten to find out is kind of a waste IMHO, I always dreamed of such prestigious brands to be unveiled in a grand video; like a gallardo, 430 and 911 jumping a crest on the 'ring after a crescendo with the calm scenes from the higher points on the 'ring. Turns out to be a crappy extremely jaggy pic from GT Mobile.

It would be pure pornography if GT5 had the Lamborghini Murciélago LP670-4 SV

Even if they did, I don't think they would be able to match the sound of this beast :sly:
