1:50.799 is my final time, I can't remember what the curb limits are so I dirty my laps one after another at a different turn lol.

Rest of my time will be in league play. Ran with a very clean group for two hours tonight. Very nice to have 16-20 other like minded people on track.
 
I need to try and get in a league race tomorrow morning.

For some reason, the time I usually play Forza is when I can't join a league.

Aren't these cars just variants of ones already in the game? So you can just get a paintjob and it would look the same right?

Yes. Some of the Turn 10 paintjobs are nice (the VIP BRZ, the Halo 5 cars..) but I can often find better designs by players and as such either sell or overwrite the paint given to me.
 
Well rivals event has closed now was hoping to get a few last laps today. So my leaderboard ranking ends at 685th position in europe top 7%, by top scores and the world at 1095th position so top 6% out of 19421 players. I really didn't think I could push myself to be this fast out of so many players. @ImaRobot your at 922nd place and are in top 6% too. Looks like we are getting the silver livery dude. Damn shame we couldn't get the gold this week. Maybe next week. To my other friend @EpicGamer47 who I'm not sure is any longer on gtplanet, he used to be, congratulations on your 1:50:586. Damn! Your sure getting the gold!

Same, the event is usually closed when I have time to play leagues. So am never on at the right time either.

I didn't even realize it was ending this weekend :lol: Had I known I would have put a little bit more effort. Oh well, not that big of a loss, really. Good job on your rank! You're progressing fairly well.

@ImaRobot. Thank so much man. Well I was trying really hard to catch your drivatar. I worked really hard late into last night to get this final time which is a 1:51:253. My last best was a 1:51:783. I hope we get the gift car soon. I can't wait to drive it again. I had to use a rental because I don't own one of these Lambos.

Also I won 3 prize spins after I made that time yesterday winning me an amazing Mazda 787B! :) Then I won 155,000 super mod pack. And one of the yellow Indy Formula race cars.

I just notice I have another 3 prize spins after booting up the game today! :) I won a Scuderia Ferrari 312 T2 worth 1,700,000 credits, 2015 Honda #27 Andretti Autosport IndyCar, and a 2014 Audi #45 Flying Lizard Motorsports R8 LMS Ultra. I must do more rivals events it seems like you earn a lot of XP, credits and prize spins and cars for doing them.

Only problem is I own most of the lambos. Does higher manufacturer affinity make the cars cheaper to buy? or is it just parts which are cheaper?

Affinity doesn't affect car price, I don't think it even affects car parts like it did in Forza 4, I've never really payed attention to it. You'll have no issue getting all the cars, or any issues with money, as you gain levels. I think I had every car by level 220 or so.
 
Climbed to the top 25% in the league event to give myself the best possible chance of getting one of the liveried cars. Hopefully when the Time Trial closes tonight, I'll have 2 Trofeos at my disposal.
 
Still in 12% globally. Knowing Turn10 we probably get our car and new event tomorrow in the evening for us Euros.

Any bets on the next Track?

I guess Spa. Or Nürburgring GP.

I checked the official Super Trofeo website. In the real world after Monza there would be Silverstone. I wouldn't like that track. Knowing it I predict even more corner cutting, in Becketts for example

The American series also does four of the US Forza tracks in the real world. They could swap between tracks for both the Euro and USA series since there's plenty to choose from.

I don't recall the track having as much a problem with dirty zones as it does with Monza. It's been a while though, so I could be wrong.

Decided to run some laps in a Rivals event set on the same configuration of Watkins Glen using my stock #18 DragonSpeed Gallardo ST. Ended up getting a 1:49.932 after running 3 laps, putting me 1.2 seconds off Triton. Good lord, I get the feeling this is gonna be really tight like the Rolls @ Brands Hatch. :ouch:
 
I MUCH prefer this track. Makes the car feel a lot more alive than it did at Monza to me. Went back to trying to use clutch, slowly getting the hang of it. After 10 or so laps I have a best time of 1:52.660
 
After 12 laps, I managed a 1:49.935. Only 3 milliseconds off from the unofficial lap time I ran last night. In the top 43% for Pinnacle for the Super Trofeo S1W1 event as well.
 
Maybe it's because I just watched the PWC race. Maybe it's because the people currently in the lobby aren't a pack of bashers. But I'm loving the League right now. What makes the ST so boring for hot lapping is what makes it great for short sprint races: it's predictable balance and safe all-paw drivetrain. A full room are all finishing before the end of race timer.
 
Are we supposed to receive a Lambo as a gift for week 1 rivals at Monza? I haven't received my car and week 2 has already started - Watkins Glen.

They haven't been sent out yet, usually they take a few days to send out any gifts.

For those in pinnacle division for leagues, right now you need roughly 8300 points to be in the top 50%, which has actually dropped by 500 since I last checked but remember it can rise again.
 
So I have set two clean laps at Monza and Watkins Glen with the Super Trofeo. If I set another clean lap in Week 3 of Rivals does that mean I get the Huracan 620-4 Super Trofeo? Thanks.

At minimum, you need 3 clean laps in the 3 Rivals time trials to get the Huracan.
