There both great cars. I voted Impreza, between my 2 favorite examples of each the Impreza 22-B and the Lancer RS. The 22-B takes the cake.

I have always been a Subaru fan , so i will go for Subaru.

The evo should,and i wanted it to be the better of the two,the actual car has ayc which (even tho the sti 9 now has a version of it) makes it the better handling of the two even with the new suspension setup on the sti........but in gt4 the spec C is just slightly faster than the MR.

Its a shame they didnt include the impreza WR1, that was a wicked version.

Id still choose the EVO's, i've bought them all in gt4 in most colours, roll on the EVO IX and X in gt5/vision/whatever

Which model is this one? I've noticed the rim is different from my STi (US 2004 version). Is there any other differences? and that place looks really nice and peaceful.

actually, i tried the lancer 4 rally car in Gt4 today, and it blew me away. it was the perfect dirt car. where i used to thrash a 500+bhp group B rally car around getting it over and done with, the lancer just went where it was meant to and didnt win by a few miles. but i still think the Scoobies are sexier

Both cars are great... The Evo has a tighter gear box with a 5 speed, but is lacking in comfort... the STi has a 6 speed, but it's suspension isnt near to the Evo. Both cars have their pros, and cons, but I have to say, STi All the way!

I generally liked the Lancer. However with the Impreza you can enter the Boxer series with one. Just don't race it against a RUF. I used to race a Lancer since they were a little cheaper than the Impreza and I kind of like the Lancer's body style. However Impreza's have a little more top speed and are now more economical.

This one was a toss up, but I like the Lancer more.

The Impreza WRX WR1 is to Subaru like the LanEvo MR FQ-400 is to Mitsubishi, they are limtied edition tuner versions of already fast cars

Personally I liked EVO IV, V and VI, I think EVO VII is a big turn down 👎 . And speaking of EVO VIII, once you get used to its look I think it actually looks the best. Then there is EVO VIII MR, much better improved model, ultra light, improved horse power and new 6 speed gears. Couple of my friends who bought EVO MR, we drive each others car few time (mine is 2004 STi), I loved both. 👍

Evo VII and up all looks almost exactly the same...
I'm not sure about the power or performance, haven't really looked into Lancers.

Sadly, the IX marks the end of the LanEvo line (waitaminute, they said this 7 years ago....)
