Lancia 037 coming to GT Sport?

#CarPorn is always allowed on Instagram
By the way, he also owns a Stratos and a Fulvia HF (the Lancia collection wouldn't be complete without them)

These are all the Lancias we need.

At last some real cars start to pop up in updates.. I just dont drive cars which are newer than 2010.. they look like smartphones, they actually drive like refrigerator, washing machine or other kitchen appliance, they have so many gadgets and other not car related stuff I want to go to bathroom every time I see one.. so for real cars guys or petrol heads this modern "plastic" car era hurts a lot, not to mention those Vision GT cars...

so yes, great news! Bring more real cars to the game..

Why do I get the feeling that an Italian-themed car pack is coming to GT Sport? We've seen PD scan the SCG Ferrari P4/5, the Alfa Romeo 155 V6 Ti, Lancia Delta Integrale, Lancia 037 and now what looks to be the Lancia Delta S4? I hope these cars come to the game soon.

Hope so. The P4/5 M could be included in the Gr. 3 class, but I'm not sure about the Delta and the 155

Any rally car, can go in Gr. B. Evidenced by what we already have.

I see the 155 and AMG 190e(if it's coming) to be in a new class.

I think there are way more important cars that need to be added, like all of our missing skylines! Where are my 50 variants of the R34?

Idk if there's even 20 that I'd say are really all that essential. I'm also wondering if you're including tuned variants or not, as well as race cars. Going by GT6's car list, here's what I'd include, at the very most:

GT-R
GT-R V-Spec
GT-R V-Spec N1
GT-R V-Spec II
GT-R V-Spec II N1
GT-R M-Spec
GT-R M-Spec Nur
GT-R V-Spec II Nur
Falken Super Taikyu GT-R
GT-R Touring Car
[JGTC, maybe the Calsonic livery?]

Amuse Carbon R
Blitz Dunlop ER34 Skyline '07 (D1GP) - (Tokyo Auto Salon winner, for the temporary period that PD picked cars from there)
Mine's BNR Skyline GT-R N1 Base
Nismo GT-R R-Tune

First-off, I'd keep those four tuners, *and* add the Z-Tune. And we know the V-Spec II Nur is gonna stick around, given its inclusion in GT Sport. Then, I think I would just add one of the 90s JGTC cars (Couldn't people just re-create the other liveries if they want the others?), the original R34 GT-R (or maybe the first V-Spec, I'm not sure), the M-Spec, and the V-Spec II N1, since it looks more distinguishable from the first V-Spec N1. I'm not sure about the Super Taikyu car, nor the Touring Car. I suppose the latter could be made into a Gr.4 variant...

I think the Delta and the 037 would both need to be heavily modified in order to compete with the other Gr. B cars and the PP Audi. In my opinion, It would make more sense to create a separate class for them or, maybe, re-structure the existing one with numbers (like N1/2/300 road cars...), but that would probably be too much of a hassle for PD.

It's that last bit. They put the Audi VGT in Gr.1. Why not make a separate class for full electric cars? Gr. E. Plus, it doesn't resemble an LMP at all.
PD could have made a Vintage Gr. B for the sake of the Audi PP. Will we see PD reveal this Gr. A in GTS? I don't know.

It's not that they look too different, it's just that they seem too uncompetitive to be there with the rest of the Group B monstrosities.

Here’s a thought, what comes next? Remastered Delta Integale and Stratos premiums or this rumoured 037?
Probably the first two since they were already premiums on the PS3, hence less work from scratch. But who really knows since they were recording the sound of the 037, the model could very well be finished already, just being playtested and other things before release.

You're right and that's another problem. Both Audis look out of place in those classes and the same could be said for other cars too. Things could get even crazier if one day PD tries to force older Group C prototypes into Gr. 1..

I think they did that in GT6? 787b VS the latest Peugeot LMP. I remember a closed canopy Peugeot(not the white one). It was a blue one.

It's really hard to believe that the Mazda would be able to compete against the much faster 908 (and the even faster 919/R18/050), when it couldn't even match the pace of the '91 Mercs and Jaguars* (which were about 12 seconds faster, even with weight ballast).

* Edit: Actually, the #55 car was on par with the #35 XJR-12 (3:43.496 vs 3:43.503; I looked at the new 14's qualifying time, forgetting It was a C1 prototype. Can't compare them fairly, even if the C11 was actually faster than the new Jaguars and Peugeots with the overall fastest time of 3:31:270).

Didn't the 787B win the Le Mans race in 1991?
