Arguably one of the most recognizable liveries to ever appear in the world of rally. The Alitalia-colored Lancia Stratos was the dominant car in the mid 70's World Rally Championship with driver Sandro Munari.
The Alitalia Stratos has been in all main Gran Turismo series games since its first appearance in the GT2 but starting in GT5, the livery changed.
Polyphony Digital removed the Alitalia wording from the Stratos, possibly in part of Alitalia's bankruptcy in 2008. Shorty after, a new company took over the Alitalia name to resume operations.
If PD gives the rallying Stratos the premium treatment, hopefully it brings back the correct livery.
