apparently the setup does not work well with the Honda Integra because I tried it and turn in was really aggressive, but mid corner and exit was push city. I am going to watch for an Acura Integra, but in the meantime I am going to see what I can do with the little CRX

Thanks Rotary Junkie, I will try that tune now

Edit: so the InfernO is much better. I managed to take a solid 8 seconds off my previous time at the sarthe, which was about a total of 11 seconds faster than the first run in the Civic SiR. The CRX is still on the backburner, and I am currently shopping for an Acura Integra Type R

Mit? The car needs to be light, because there is no budget limit, and the hp limit is 275 I need to find the lightest FF car out there. I realized that I already own an Acura ITR. Tried the settings, and figured out that this one is much better than the Honda counterpart.

It doesn't help that the 1995 ITR that Inferno is based on has much narrower tires, but I've found the Acuras to respond a bit better as well. (RSX vs DC5 ITR)

well, if good FF's are still needed, Alfa 147 twinspark is surprisingly good. it can handle 370bhp with sport softs, and with that power, tyres and wing it does 'Ring in 7'38 ish.

There is a 275hp cap on this challenge

Edit: I seem to be doing not so well, my current total time is like 8:20. I was wondering if anyone had a decent tune for the CRX SiR?

Good deal, you guys are life savers. I am trying that tune as we speak

Edit: Wow! the CRX is much much better. Still pushes mid corner, but I am taking seconds off my previous records. The only complaint I have is that I cant get to the 275hp mark with NA tuning, I have to have a huge stage 3 turbo that spools at like 6 grand. Such is life though

Before Roj came along to the party and we still had CirclesCenter.

Anywho... It's overpowered right now, but it'll do well with a bit of power knocked out. (Overpowered as in over the 275hp cap)

About the the CRX,im getting sub 4'30.xxx at Sarthe1.It is a 6.2 mile special and has 274 hp w/o oil.Trying to dial out the understeer.

EDIT:ahh dialed out the understeer but I spin when its going 160+:scared:

Ha, that RCV seems to be more confident and better at turning. I think I found one main problem with our competition, the other guy wanted a rule that you cannot tune your car for the separate tracks, the gear ratios with this rule are holding me back. I think I will keep trying with the RCV, and Killer, if you have a tune I will gladly try that one too.

How about a Mitsubishi FTO GP Version R?

I was tinkering with one tonight and managed a 1:44 at Cote d Azur, a 4:26 at Sarth 1 and a 1:30 on SS-5 giving me a total time of 7:40 How is that stacking up?

I can't get to the settings from where I am at right now.
But here is what I remembered from messing around with it:

Its a '99 FTO GP Version R
Frame refresh first thing!!
Stage 3 weight removal
Racing suspension, Full Custom trans, Wing, Racing soft tires.
All the good parts as far as drive line goes.
Power was sitting at 273, 2nd N/A tuning, Race exhaust and chipped.
Settings are as follows . . . well as I can remember them that is.

Suspension:
Springs: 12.5 - 12.5
Ride height: 105 - 110
Bound: 2 - 2
Rebound: 5 - 5
Camber: 2.2 - 2.5
Stabilizer: 6 - 5

Trans was set to 11 or 12. I was jockeying between the two and forget where I kept it at for the tests.

LSD was 20 - 30 - 05

Down force was at 25 - 25

I don't think I used a brake controller.

All aids were off. Its pretty manageable with the racing tires.

I'll try to verify these settings as soon as I can. (Hopefully tonight!)
