Launch Bonus Pack & Pre-Order Cars - Available Tuesday to Everyone

I don't get why anyone is upset, sure it is a bit greedy on T10's part, but frankly it's not like this is the first time they have done this.

As far as the VIP stuff goes, I'm not too worried about it being available down the line, when it comes out I will have had considerably early compared to non LCE owners. I also bought it expecting for the VIP pack to be available down the line, I felt as a package though it was worth the extra cash. I will say I'm disappointed by how little T10 has done for VIP's thus far though, I was expecting more than 3 cars by this point but that's a different topic.

Well my case is a little different as I only paid ten bucks more for the LCE over the regular version since no store knew what the price was going to be and they were just winging it. Gamestop advertised it at 69.99 so I jumped on that pre-order and they honored it. So I have no problem whatsoever how things are going down. Even had I paid the full 79.99 I still wouldn't have had a problem.

But what I don't understand is why any LCE owner would be upset at this point anyhow. So far nothing that has been released is LCE content. Only pre-order and launch bonus.

There's nothing limited about being having LCE DLC content available to the public just 3 months post launch. Collector's edition, yeah, you get a nice metal cover and a mediocre book (basically just printed autovista images) but the core reason for me to get the LCE was the exclusive cars. I figured in some FM4UC I'd see these cars available a year down the road but 3 months?? Had I known I'd purchased a normal copy and picked up this full pack. Also I feel VIP members seem to be an afterthought with T10. I don't post on their site. Their incentive for FM5 LCE needs to be massive, otherwise without question it's a normal version.

I'd be happy if they gave the preorder cars free to VIP/LCE members or if they just split the LCE and preorder cars into 2 packs. I'm not broke, not by any means, but it's the principle of the whole thing.

The difference between LCE and standard edition is just money. As a VIP I got everything at launch that I paid for and don't see how restricting other people from paying for the same cars helps the game or my experience of it in any way.

The VIP car pack comes with LCE only. I wanted the RUF, and old stang so that was the extra incentive to get the LCE. So that is essentially the pack, is it not? Sorry I might be confused on this now seeing the ship bonus of preorders. I thought the preorder cars were the CRV, 1M, Subbie STI, etc when you preorder from specific retailers. I have the VIP pack and the ship bonus for being VIP. I want some of the exclusive retailer preorder cars so to get it I have to buy seperately. My gripe is that they don't have a retail exclusive preorder pack for cheaper

Because in order to get the PRE ORDER cars, you have to pay for the LAUNCH BONUS cars as well.
What I don't understand is why people who don't have the LCE have a problem with the LCE owners who feel like complaining? Seems a bit ironic to me. Complain about complainers who have a, more or less, valid reason to complain. If the last pack was split in two cheaper packs, this would not be a problem. However, T10 knew that people who paid for the LCE are likely to pay again for all the PRE ORDER cars and took advantage of that. And they will likely do it again with the VIP cars, and then with FM4ULTIMATE.
It's just business. People have to understand that but they also have the right to show their disapproval.

You could have got the Stang and the Ruf without getting the LCE. I got the LCE because I never bought LCE anything before, it was only 10 bucks more and the "little black book".

It would have been a nice gesture to give all LCE owners all the pre-order cars on the house but it wasn't necessary. Other than that there is no reason to complain. Yep, that's the issue for me and I guess a few others. They should have split the DLC into two lower priced packs, so that I can pick up the pre-order bonus cars and not pay again for the ship bonus pack I've already got.

Nothing more to it than that. It's a perfectly reasonable complaint and one that's not hard to understand.
