If multiple people are having problems we tend to change room. If not the problem tends to be at your end. Last series I had some huge issues at deep forest, when no-one else did. I just did my best, scored badly and moved on.
In terms of issues with yourself, you need to learn that full on is not always the fastest speed. It's not a matter of overtaking at the first opportunity or being fastest out of the corner. Consistency gets points and podiums.
Take for example my race. I had one unforced error (due to being pranged at the back), one where I came out of the pits at the same as as someone hurtling down the straight and one huge self inflicted off.
I would have been 1-3 places higher if I hadn't made any mistakes as I was in 5th place when I had my 'off'. I know myself I comprised my chances by the mistake, if only I'd not quite been so greedy with the corner, I would have scored better.
Looking forward to the next race as it's a track I'm more happy with, hence I'll put in the time so I know how fast I can go without problems or errors. With that little bit in reserve if I get into a battle with someone.
