Only just noticed this now, nobody told me ( :( ). If you're sticking with the 2 different classes I'll take the only spot left in the OP, which is the GT300 Lexus.

If you're going to do that, Chqr, couldn't you make reserve GT500 slots specific to the GT300 guys as a precaution?

Nice to have you onboard.

No worries lads. We'll stick with 2 classes.

The more I think about it, the more I want to slide with the all GT500 just so nobody has that posibility of racing on their lonesome.

I have no qualms with any 2 class racing, and I usually do better in the "slower" class, but I know in a spot race a while back we had 4 NSX RM and 3 CR-Z TCs. One CR-Z pulled into the pits about 8 laps in and stayed there til the end.

Okay lads.

Thank you to all who have signed up. 16 drivers is phenomenal.

Now, if we have 5 or less drivers in the GT300 class at 6.45pm GMT, I will make it an all GT500 race.

RPH and LancerEvo might lose power unfortunately (good luck lads though) so GT300 lads prepare a GT500 car as a backup. Remember tuning is prohibited.

I've had some responses on the GT300 class drivers with their back-up GT500 car so I'll put that in the OP too.

I hope everyone understands the predicament I'm in.

I've asked all 8 of the drivers if they'd prefer to move in the GT500s.

I've had 6 responses saying they'd prefer to do so.

I'd prefer giving the GT300 lads the peace of mind knowing which car they are in 20 hours before the race than 1 hour before so I hope everyone understands this decision to shift the GT300s into GT500.

4 Manufacturers // 4 Teams

Ok then, looks like I'm in the Nissan Calsonic GTR that I used in Furi's Suzuka race (my only worn in car without an engine stage upgrade on it).

I'll remain with Lexus, and go with a Petronas TOMs Lexus SC430

I'm tempted to switch given the tire efficiency of a Lexus.

I think a Single Class of 16 drivers will be far more exciting anyway.

For the records my Lexus will be the DENSO DUNLOP SARD SC430 '08 :)

Is it ok for me to use the Nissan GT-R R35 TC which comes from one of the DLC packages>

Anyone wanna do some practice later tonight?

I think its worth poking the Americans and Aussies on this one.

I'll open the lobby at 6.30pm GMT to give everyone an hour of practice irrespective of time zones.

Triple post Chqr tut-tut.

I do fear the Supra's are too quick.

Whatcha ya gonna do, punk?

Depends how you look at it, Furi.

The Nissan has the best handling, Lexus the best tire wear, Honda the best straight line speed and Toyota are the all-rounder but not the best if you know what I mean.

Life has become much easier for your hosting, Furi. No need for race checks. Just put 502bhp and 1100kg the minimum weight and we're sold.

NSX's yeah, HSV is slower but nicer on tyres.

Yeah, all cars have their advantages and disavantages.

With no tuning prohibited evens it all out even more really and its up to driver skill to win this.

Switching to the WEIDER - My Takata can't meet the restricted tuning - my second backup was my castrol mugen, that tops out on the straightaway. So since I have no other option I'm going WEIDER. On a straightaway it was only doing 178MPH as opposed to the Mugen's 182 (topping out).

Edit: Only other option is Premium Takata - I'll try that. Forgot about it.

Edit 2: Hmmm...What's a fully broken in WEIDER run HP wise?
