Thankz for switching to all GT500 before I did al night practice in the wrong car. I will be running the Xanavi GTR or Yellow Hat Supra. I will have my car choice up within 3hrs from now.

See you guys on track!

Posted on your wall earlier but apologies if you don't get it.

Okay, no worries. I'll put you down as a Toyota for the time being.

I'm happy GTPlanet is back on line, I saw that was not working due to hurricane Sandy

all the testing I have done in the dry brings all the cars within 1 second of each other, with 90% of the names I've seen on the post I expect this to be one of the hardest fought long distance races of all time, I also expect this to be one of the cleanest races I will most likely ever compete in, I personally think that whoever has the lead coming out of Indianapolis will most likely win the race,

👍

I hope so too.

I've added the points system to the OP too.

If anyone gives another driver mechanical damage on the parade lap, I won't be a happy bunny. It is the responsibility of all drivers to maintain 75 mph and at least two car lengths between each driver. The car behind must ensure this happens.

Additionally, two tires must remain on the BLACK track at all times. Of course, I will be tolerable of using run-offs on low grip or in the rain but no excessive curb use.

also bud, I would like to suggest we do a 4 wide salute down the Mulsanne straight to pay tribute for the people who are dealing with the Hurricane crisis,

We could.

I think RPH has lost power unfortunately as he's in NJ dealing with the brunt of the storm. LancerEvo7 has said he won't race due to the storm.

I just hope no one gets damage through doing this.

We'll see with anyone lagging a little bit or anything else that may stop this working.

I agree we can do it :gtpflag:

push come shove I have no issue, and I wouldn't think anyone else would have an issue postponing it until the weather clear's, if it does cause lag, but 15 people most likely showing, its gonna be a cracker,

I've had an influx of drivers from TOCA and NASCAR to make up a 16 car grid and 3 reserves now. They're solid drivers.

There's limited dates for us TOCA and NASCAR folk to postpone to so I'll keep the date as is.

There's no guarantee RPH and NJ will get power back this week so there might not be point waiting.

that is true too, the power station interchange went down in my old town, it took them 4 weeks to get power back to our street, the worst of it was that we lived next door to the interchange,

Ouch. :scared:

We get power surges here in Surrey, UK for about 10 minutes and even that feels like a lifetime.

I'm really relishing tonight. I just want a good clean race really.

Its a long way to go - 250km - 20 laps of Circuit De La Sarthe so don't think a crash will knock you out of contention. The weather will be fairly unpredictable with a setting at 7 and changeability at 25%.

I just hope we have 12+ runners at the finish. Remember 4 compounds on offer: Mediums / Hards / Wets / Intermediates. Speed isn't the entire story here but strategy.

like I said before,I expect the race to be that clean that whoever leads out of the Indianapolis complex of turns on the last lap should win, pending they don't bin it themselves, I love these levelling events brings everyone back to the same page, I haven't tested in extreme weather yet, but I'm about to throw some wets on and go,

I might not be able to make it tonight actually. Going to see Skyfall can’t guarantee ill make it for 7:30

Don't worry. There's a good chance a couple of others might be late so if we are waiting on a few, I'll wait till 7.45.

that works better for me, gives me a few extra minutesfor the body to wake up,

also according to the title I'm assuming qualification has happened?

I meant we have 16 drivers apologies in saying 'grid is set.'

Qualifying is set for 7.15pm GMT today.

Open practice is at 6.30pm GMT today. Race start at 7.45pm GMT now.

Le Mans is quiet now...

yeah the chaser's war on everything is funny as, that fella dressed up as Bin Laden hopped in the back of a limo that had Canadian flags on it, like a diplomat, they then managed to get through 3 security check point's and within 100 yards or so of the English and Australian prime minister and the president before people realized he didn't belong there,

Final Room Weather Settings to give a 24Hour Race Clock:

Before Qualifying the Room will be reset to the following conditions:

Time: 10.00
Time Progression: 18
Weather at Race Start: 25%
Weather Changeability: 7
Surface Water at Race Start: 0%

--

If I've done my calculations correctly, we should end up with a 24 hour cycle with 1 minute of race time giving 18 minutes of day/night clock time.

See you there guys :)

I've done 0 laps so far. Turns out my only Calsonic GTR had an engine upgrade on it after all, so I had to go and wear in a new one. I probably sold/deleted the one from Furi's Suzuka race. I'll get some practice done in an hour or so.

EDIT: 3:55.950 first lap out.
