Hey guys

Were getting ready for a 24 hour virtual Challenge sponsored by a local Car magazine and were busy setting up the killer whale.

Current quickest lap times (Corner cutting regulated by GT) is 3:07 in the dry and were happy with the dry setup.

1) What were struggling with is the wet setup. Has anybody got any tuning tips for a powerfull MR car like the 908 in the WET.

2 ) Best compromise for braking and traction control.

3) How to make the car most drivable under all conditions?

So oursetup we ahve is pretty good, but im sure with your help we can make it better,

regards

P

This setup for the 908 got me through both 24h races and I'm not lying much if I say it rained for 15 hours during the Le Mans run. It won't handle well in the rain no matter what but stick to Racing Softs no matter what the weather looks like. From then on just play it by ear and you'll be fine.

Hey, thanks for teh quick response.

Soft tyres only work if its offline. This race will take place online and the track grip is set to REAL, making Softs a bad bad option. :(

Tx though

In that case, I'm afraid, there's nothing you can do other than drive more carefully than you could ever imagine. The grip in wet online races is absolutely ridiculous as even mediocre powered AWD cars struggle to find traction.

Tx for confirming that! :)

Anyone else have any ideas on wet setup?

Another issue were having is the fact that im about 6 seconds a lap slower in the lobby of the person who is gonna host it :(

When i create a lobby my setup and pace is GREAT?!?! any thoughts?

Ok, found a good setup, but its SO different to any real world setup! :(

also the pace is now faster but still not on par with the offline speed.

Wet driving will be tested tonight! :)

In my personal opinion, it doesn't matter what you do to a car, it'll never match offline speed. Although I have seen certain people claim to run faster online than offline, but I'm a skeptical man...

Could be that! :)

got my dry times down last night with the BACKWARDS ride height setup so im happy with that, still 2 seconds off my offline pace but i reckon this is as fast as im gonna go...

Wet im still doing (with the exact same setup and ABS on 2 4:15 which is very slow ive heard... (full wet online)

my csl got near the same time online/offline 1.11.7xx to 1.11.5xx (deepforest)
