Race Day!!! ​
  • Please make sure that you have the appropriate # placed on your car.
  • Heavy Damage is on. (You will have to make a pit stop to fix mechanical damage)
  • Please be aware of your surroundings at all times.
  • Lobby opens @9pm Eastern for practice. Race starts @10pm Eastern. DON"T BE LATE
If you get disconnected or quit during a race you will receive a DNF and finish last.

A DNF will earn you 1 point for last place regardless of how many drivers have entered the race to ensure that you don't quit just because you are in last place. To get the most points possible, you must finish the race.

If more than (1) person quits or gets disconnected
your finishing order will be determined by the
number of laps completed.

If car A and car B quits/disconnects on the same lap
both cars get the same amount of points

If car A quits/disconnects on lap 4 = 1 point
If car B quits/disconnects on lap 4 = 1 point
If car C quits/disconnects on lap 5 = 2 points

I watched a bit but it's too depressing to see racing that I couldn't take part of because of stupid work and DUI check points because of the World Cup.
Good racing to all and see you at the track soon.
 
Good race tonight, i'll have the weekly race results, the point standings and some pictures updated tomorrow at some point.
 
Please clarify what your definition of "quits/disconnects" means? I had some urgent calls to take care of during the race so I parked in the pits while I took care of it and then rejoined the race for the final 10 mins. If sitting in the "pits" and eventually re-joining the race at the end to take care of real life matters is considered "quiting" than it would be nice to have known that ahead of time. I only came back to the race so that it would not be a DNF

Your fine , don't worry about it.... " quits/disconnects " are self explanatory, you'll get the points for 6th place. You have a PSN message explaining why i sent you the message that I did.
What I'm trying to accomplish is to keep everybody on the track for the entire race.
Once again, don't worry about it.
  • "QUIT" = backing out of the race. There was 10 people , now theres 9
  • "DISCONNECT" = loss of internet / game malfunction
  • "If you park the car / sit in the pits for the duration or most of the duration of the race so you don't technically (quit) , then you may fall under the (quit / disconnect) rule, under my discretion."
You do not fall under this DNF rule for the race that we just had. No worries...

I have also updated the rule in the OP.

GP/D - 60 minute race

The first race of the league didn't see very many cars on the starting grid.
It definitely saw some close battles, and its fair share of bumps n bruises.
Xrad-11 took the pole position but unfortunately jumped the gun on the starting grid.
It didn't matter because he came back to win in glorious fashion.
Next week we take on the 24hr Nurburgring track layout for 60 minutes.
Should be interesting to say the least.
Can Xrad-11 take on the pole again and sail to victory???
Guess we'll find out next week. Stay tuned for more exiting racing from the
KING OF THE NURBURGRING RACING LEAGUE!!!
