John Players Special black and gold livery comes to mind on the Porsche RSR.

I freaked out when I saw your Taisan Star Card Porsche as I just brought out my 1/10th scale Tamiya RC car version that I have had for about 20 years give or take. Probably one of my favorite all time livery's and you got it pretty much spot on.

Haha, thanks! To be honest, I based it more upon my own RC car rather than the real version! Glad to hear someone else still has a Tamiya original!

I will give the JPS 911 some thought. There's quite a lot out there already so it's if I can do something slightly different. Watch this space and follow me (X_power_75) in the game for first viewings!

Gave it my best! It takes influences from several JPS designs including the 935 and a couple of 911s. If you feel I could improve it feel free to say but I hope you like it anyway! Available to download.

Open to requests (except for the Ferrari 330P4 and Jag XJ13 as I don't have 40,000,000 credits hanging around!) for all makes and models (oh, and that dreadful VW hippy shed - that thing will never even darken my garage!)
 
Extremely impressive. For future recommendations, anything with the McLaren F1 or a Martini inspired 911. My attempt at the Gulf F1 looks amateur compared to what you are able to create.
 
I have very similar decals. However, when you put one inside the other the dimensions are thrown out, no matter how much image manipulation you do! Believe it or not, to make that livery took nearly 150 decals! Looks so simple, anything but!

Thank you very much, appreciated. I've deliberately held off from doing a Martini livery purely because it's so over used! I like to try the rarer liveries, such as my Craft Bamboo Vantage. I searched liveries from day 1 and not one person had made it so to me it was challenge accepted! I do also make liveries others have made, however i like to put my own mark on them.

Give me an idea of what livery you would like on the McLaren F1 and I will see what I can do.

Yeah, I've found similar issues when breaking up other large files. The second decal has the inner and the outer as one file, so that might help.

Understood on the Martini livery. I haven't found one that I really like, but I may need to look more. Regarding the F1, either the Harrods or the Gulf/ Davidoff. If you go with the Harrods, you should do a matching 650S, similar to the P1 GTR that McLaren had. I've seen a few 650S' with the Gulf/ Davidoff livery, but no F1 yet.

If you could recreate some of the liveries that are used in Project Cars 2 that would be awesome. There are real world liveries there to get inspired by.
 
Been busy working on the Harrods trio this week, hope you all like them! The F1 is based upon chassis 6R which ran in the 1996 Le Mans 24 Hours and came 6th overall. Just one year later the car was road registered requiring little modification. The replica I have made wears that cars number plates and LM boards on its roof.
The 650s brothers are both inspired from chassis 6R and have a modern version of the "powered by" decal on their sides!

I'm struggling to find something original. Everything I think of has already been done. You may have to try your hand at some original designs.

Along those lines, you could do your rendition of every McLaren Formula 1 car over the years, or at least ones that interest you. That could keep you busy for a while.

I have two more ideas that could be more fun and creative. One would be creating more cartoon and fictional cars like your Mystery Machine Beetle, like the Mach 5 from Speed Racer.

Or, if you are a music fan, you could do a line of Samba Vans acting as a band's tour bus, decorated as an homage to that band.
 
I'm a big music fan but the samba bus will never darken my garage!
I'm currently considering a couple of classic Mercedes DTM liveries.
Plenty of scope left with British GTs too!
 
If you know any in particular lemme know but in general I always use a blue with white accents on my liveries. Are there any good real world ones that require little change to keep that theme? Best I found was the IMSA GTO RX-7
 
Excellent liveries my man!! Love the Nismo GTR and the Exide M6! Really good stuff, all of em. Wish you well on your health. Keep up the phenomenal work.
