My first win in my RS200 so far, Was a nice battle racing Fragolas is always fun, Frag lead first and his little mx5 put up good pace but I could see I didnt have to drive at my cars limit to keep up, his car is very ballanced in the corners but the 4wd of my RS200 helped me stay close along with the extra HP keeping us tight on the straights, round 2 I lead and went all out to see what his mx5 can do I noticed by the mid way mark his car was starting to fall behind, I made a few small mistakes from pushing to much but they wasnt enough for frag to close the gap up and I crossed the line 2.6 seconds ahead
(Hopefuly the first win of many for my A class car, after another battle against frag in B class which im sure he will post up soon, Im not so confident in my lancer's ability as I was before
His B class MX5 is mighty fast! )

Intense close battle 2 well tuned MX5, what can I say?! I rha run wide in the esses i first round, getting damage and badboy almost passed me. At this point I was disapointed, seemed my finish was near, but... Light damage in front right wheel actually helped to turn left. With right turns it was another story.. It was a stuggle to keep badboys pace with damage and an instable car, but I managed to keep his pace when chasing and closing all chances to pass when leading. At 6th round, bad luck catched Badboy when we touched the dirt and spun out in the fast left in 1st sector of Ushi. I´ve avoid crash and passed him, trying to hold the gap until finish. One of my thoughest battles ever, I thought i was history in first round, but never quit, getting my reward, eheh!! But watch out for Badboy´s MX5, its well tuned and will be even better, he´s still developing it!! I think I wont be this lucky in next week rematch!!
Always a pleasure to drive with him, very polite on track and funny on chat!!

Back then, there was group A. But it was in a rally form and not in touring cars. Besides the AE101 wasn't built until the mid 90's.

Fragolas choose to chase on round one and from the off i knew his MX5 would be a test for my Z. Fragolas put the pressure on all the way round and we ended round one with the Z leading by 0.4 of a second.
Round two was much of the same, But my drive out of turn one gained me the much needed drive to pass Fragolas MX5 on the drag up to turn 2. After the pass the pressure was on again from the MX5. Fragolas was unable to pass the Z which gave me the win..

I choose to chase in this battle and knowing i dont have the best handling i would have to find another way of passing the MX5. I managed to use my 190E's power on a small up hill run to pass the MX5 and then some how managed to hold it off to the finish line...

I choose to chase the City Turbo i i found out right from the exit of turn one that shear power would just out do the City. So i opted for sitting back and trying to pass it on the outside, And for the whole lap Solid pushed it so i couldnt pass him on the outside so right near the end of the lap i passed him on the inside of an easy turn crossing the line just under 1 second ahead.. (Great little car there Solid)

That old Colt was a surprise for me. Although my mx5 had greater speed exiting. I could pull away when leading but I wanted to do like the big boys, wining by passing. So waited to do my move. In last sector managed to pull from a corner faster and take the inside, passing in next corner. Unfortunatelly, I touched Maccers Colt when I was exiting the corner. Nothing big, but I was not happy winning after a bump, I should be a clean driver... Need to practise overtaking. Althought, Maccers drive is great, clean ad polite on track, always a pleasure to drive with!!

Yeah, the CITY Turbo just isn't cut out for Toscana touge, I'd been running it with some success in Mt. Aso CMSD with other touge runners, but its just not cut out for LotS.

Yep, could´t keep your pace, mate!! A well tuned RS200 + Maccers on the wheel, is the recipie for victory, ehehe. My little mazda was struggling but was no good, its a barbies car afterall!! And my skills are not at same level as the bigboys!! But was a good experience, hope next time I can give you a good challenge!!👍

Yep, too losses in 30 minutes, lol!! Your Z is in great shape. My mazda would increase the gap in second round if I wasn´t passed, great moove, my friend!!
A class, I´m a mess, lost power exiting a corner into an uphill and I was history! Great battles, love to race the LotS stars, always learning something new!!

1 round battle, I pulled away 8 sec gap. Thought Snake honda would take me on straights, but he couldn´t keep with me. Massive understeer from his car dictated my win.

Wow Mount Aso tracks. Are there any good ones?? If yes i would love to race on those as it would be a nice change to the toscana scenery.

True. I remember i have created one track which was not bad. Had a few good turns but was a realy short track. 1 minute something to finish one lap.
In Mount Aso i think it is realy hard to get a nice, chalanging track layout.
It realy is a pitty, because i would just love to have a good touge track with Mt.Aso theme.

When i run Mt. Aso tracks it's usually point to point, turn around and switch places at the end until one falls behind. kinda like the 86 vs 86 battle in Initial D
Also, IMO, I believe that the Mt. Aso tracks allow a nice change of pace from Toscana because the shorter tracks means you can hold back less in regards to tire wear. Which, in turn, would allow for some heated dogfights!!

Hmm it's like CM but there's a limit if your far away. Recommend courses somewhere really narrow

Don't forget that you can also overtake as well in those battles. That is how Takumi (AE86 Trueno) beat Wataru (AE86 Levin) in that same battle.

It's true, you have to try passing the opponent if there's any open space you can pass. Don't forget to add Doctor Love - Dr.Love. The song goes well with the battle
