Exciting and hard fought battle with Frag that has been waiting to happen since pre-season. I pushed my Celica hard against the MX5 over 4 tough rounds but the nimble little roadster won the duel in the end. I vigourously defended against Frag's attacks as my car was behaving like a heavy Grand Tourer through the bends. Battling increasing tyre strain in the 4th run ensured Frag pulled away. Looking forward to a rematch soon.

Great battle, mate! Your Celica is running great, tho! I won because of tires management, my MX5 is a little understeer so I can save rear tires for 6 or 7 rounds without loosing considerable grip. My weakness is straight speed, but it doesn´t matter in courses like this. I think in Ushimine resul would be different. Great time racing Street, great skills, polite on track and friendly guy in lobby!! 5/5

Certaintly isnt a very active season only 15 people registerd when I last checked and about half of that have actualy done races, Ill be on later tonight about 6pm GMT if anyone wants to battle?

If anyone was ready to battle when I am online, I'll race. But no one was online at the same time as I, I haven't had the chance to battle. I'll be online from 9am to 12noon (AEDT/GMT+11)

Confirmed mate. Good race your FC is quick, and you made a smart choice in choosing a 2 sec gap, if we was running a 3 sec gap I think your drift approach to the corners would have cost you grip in the later laps.

Before this 80's season is over I'd realy like to re-match your 190E Merc Shadow, I feel we could have a much better race than we did in the first week now that I dont lag like I did that day, we just need to be in a lobby where we can see each other as that seems to be a problem I get alot.

Kado wanted to lead for the first lap, and after the first turn felt like a drag race. I was right behind him revealing my presence with the high potential mx5 leaving him with no room to breathe. I was looking for a good clean pass, but I couldn't initiate one. Second round came up, and I took a wide turn first turn to have a better exit speed. I was slipping away and kado was trying to keep up, but it wasn't enough and he was fading away in my mirror.

This was an interesting battle, lol. Again, kado lead for first round where the notorious hairpin after the big sweeper he braked to late. I passed him, but I felt I would give him a chance so I let him pass out of good sportsmanship. He was doing a good job keeping his composure after that and being consistent until the finish line. Second round came up and this is where it started to get interesting...lol. I spread the gap throughout the whole track with no problems.. then the last turn..I jumped...and I fell, lol. I was shocked and embarrassed. I tried to position the car to make it to the finish line, but kdo passed me. He decided to make a proposition, if I pass him next lap we continue. I managed to pass him with front right & left rear suspension damage from the encounter of that jump. From there it was not only a battle with him but the car as well. There was moments I thought I would lose, although the car served me well throughout the fight that evidently gave me the win. Great sportsmanship from this guy 👍

im very surprised there very lil people participating in this event, i thought this 80's event might spark it up using classic japanese cars..unless everyone going through the same problem as i am with my car or just cant find a good vehicle. i thought my celica was a good contender but as it turns out it cant even compete with the miatas. And the gt 2.0 came out and made the sh tires a lil slippery giving my celica extreme under steer. hopefully next season will turn out better for everyone including me lol

I just completed a shakedown test of another potential Class B car for season 3 and I found it to be even better than the AW11 MR2 that I orginally planned to use. I plan to test my new machine in public during the next time attack week to refine the setup.

well i hope Lots will recover some of the member after the 80's season is over, there were so many people in the last season. There was 35 ppl in class A and 21 ppl in class B. Now it dropped over half the ppl , plus the game is getting old and ALOT of new game releases are coming out this month makes me wonder how long gt5 will last

Man I wish Gunsai Touge was a DLC for GT5 so I can enjoy a Touge with many Trees and grass because I don't wanna stick around with a Touge with few trees and mostly beige and many dirt . Who Agrees?
