Street led in his VX220 and my S14 was able to keep on his tail for the first half of the course. I had an opportunity to go for the outside line and try to pass but it was no good due to Street-King's great cornering ability and he spread the gap back to a few car lengths. The Vauxhall then kept slowly spreading the gap and I began driving more anxiously in the last sector which helped Street edge out a 3.1 second gap at the finish line. I'm pleased with the results for the Silvia's first shake down and can't wait to develop it further; although I should have been able take it at least to the next round.

This is a battle I been looking forward to having since mid season 2 since I lost to streetking on one of his old course's, and finaly we got the chance to have this battle as our connections where both good once,
We raced on his new home course this time (Its a great track btw I hope to do more battles here) Streetking chose to lead first and I was able to stay with him pretty close the whole lap. Round 2 and im leading, I felt I could go faster than I did when I was chasing so I did and streetking did his best to keep up but his Evo X was slowly droping back and I crossed the line 4.4seconds ahead to win.

While we both had a good connection we decided to have a Beta class battle too, againg streetking chose to lead first,
Round 1 I noticed my S14 had alot more power than his VX220 but he could throw his car into the turns and slide through with grace at ease while I had to hard brake and make sure I got a good line or I understeerd, I was able to stay close under 1 second behind at the finish,
Round 2 Im leading and try to go all out to make use of his lack of power, I was pulling away to a good lead at one point getting over a 3second gap through a checkpoint, but in the last sections of the track I droped off the pace and made a few mistakes where streetking could catch up, I crossed the like 2.937 seconds ahead! So close but yet so far..
Round 3 and I went for glory here, staying close to streetking I get a good corner exit coming uphill and out power him to pass on his left and stay inside for the next corner where I stayed ahead to win. (It was epic watching his VX220 slide full speed through the corners behind me getting close but slowing droping back as I get into the powerband)
alvin23aAny one going to be on at about 4pm (gmt10+)? I'll be running my DC2 on Angletickula

First battle at my home course this season and my first win was from an exciting Elise vs VX220 duel. Indiana chose to chase first due to his lack of course knowledge and was able to stay the tail of my lighter but less powerful and aerodynamic Vauxhall. The Elise then began suffering understeer and started to fall back. Indiana kept the gap below 3 seconds until he hit dirt and spun out at the double-apex left hander. He refused to throw in the towel but it was too late as the gap was 8 seconds by the time I crossed the finish line.
Wynter there is already a magazine about gt5. So far there have only been two issues. I thought about doing an article on touge, but I am an inconsistent writer.Winters Noble
I had a crazy idea of how to draw attention to the world of touge. I was thinking of starting a car magazine exclusive to gt5. Think of how many people it will bring in.

Hey Wynter, yeah, the GT Life magazine.

I've always wanted to put in an article as well, but you know. I never got around to do it, I don't have that much time and I rather spend that time Touge-ing instead. That's why I don't really bother making cool banners and stuff. But with everyone's help here, we're able to bring LotS to where it is today. With cool banners and footer images as well.
Wynter, depending on your article, if you'll like some input, I am more than willing to help out. If you want the background of LotS, I can share that as well! haha...

My first rain battle and wow are these battles tense! And my first battle against a fellow FD driver 👍 haha awesome battle though.
Round 1 I lead first and made the choice of staying on Sports Hard tyres while chev went for Comfort Softs, we were pretty evan paced at the start but gradualy I started to get a slight lead, about half way through and a I notice the checkpoint time at roughly 2.5seconds so I try and keep it steady, the end section is now approaching and is also the most difficult being all downhill I got a little wide on the last few tight downhill corners but there is a decent bit of straight with a kink in it before the final turn but I messed up the kink slightly so pulling out of the end turn I floor it with a good exit and cross the line 2.4 seconds ahead. Mostly thanks to my FD being more powerfull.
Very close and tense race! but so much fun at the same time, dont think I'll be doing another rain battle anytime soon though im more at home on dry tarmac.
