Course: Mt. Akina

Man, what an intense battle against Tak. Tak challenged me to a rematch from last week battle, again in his home course to a CMSD 1 second gap but, this time, he choosed to lead first run. Then I thought "with him leading, Im ruined in first sector, and a 1 second gap is not enough to catch him in the last and fast sector". First straight I stayed on his tail, but couldnt pass. Then in the technical sector, I was able to keep his pace, because of his cold tyres (this isn't an issue to my R34). He slowly increased gap, but I closed it in the fast sector. Second run, I've took the same strategy I had in last week battle, blocking his speed staying in the fastest line with my big R34 (noted some slight love taps in my rear due to my early breaking points), and trying to pull away i the last straights. With this in mind, I crossed the finish line with a 2 seconds gap. Really intense battle!! Although I was so tense, I had great fun driving with Takumi!! Great drive, mate!! :)

Confirmed! Hey Hey! You lucky this time because you got a turbo....(Keiichi disgusted face)N/A is for a real man! haha but overall, Awesome battle :P
Our Touge Maou has been defeated again, we'll never know when it's going to get back it's original Touge Monster name...

Chev asked to lead with a 3 second headstart and i soon found myself sitting 5 seconds behind at sector 1. By the beginning of the last sector i was 3.2 seconds down but got a little loose with 1 turn to go, Somehow i crossed the line 2.9 seconds down. Round 2 Chev stayed on my tail for as long as he could be i started to pull away. I crossed the line 3+ seconds ahead.

Same rules applied in this battle and i gave Chev the 3 second headstart. I caught up reasonably fast. I saw Chev run wide into a turn as i was about to pass him and then Chev spun out. At the finish i was 10+ seconds ahead...

EHEHEH, I sure was lucky, your cold tyres didn't helped you in first round!! In a different course you would beat me good, I recognise that!! :)

Confirmed,I considered this to be my first shakedown to the B class finals, and I have a lot of work to do!!! eheheeh

I've only downloaded this course today, never tryed it before, but now I need to master it until the weekend or Maccer will beat me easily!! :)

I'm thinking about making a FB page for LotS. Good choice or Bad?

I think I can give you guys admin to the GTTC (Gran Turismo Touge Championship) Facebook page, it already has 60 likes, all you would have to do is change the titles and pictures and stuff. I've told Timber about doing that but like a long time ago. No one has touched it ever since the GTTC died except me, and I've only put links redirecting people to this thread lol. Let me know what you guys think.

confirmed the r1 and elise are the best in their class and put in the hands of someone like shadow are a daunting task to even pursue.

Timber you realize that the snow tracks only allow snow tires? i made a custom course for it (fairbanks touge) but not able to run on sh or cs tires.

Another great race. Mac choose to lead the first round where i could stick on his tail. In the second round i used my track knowledge and pulled away with a nice gap of 5 secs.
I am looking forward to a rematch on his home course.

Got a chance to rematch SK at the course he beat me at last week to see if ive improved my S14 at all.
Round 1 started us off with SK leading and I was able to stay close he was getting abit loose at times due to cold tyres but i could'nt make as pass.
The next few rounds saw a lot of close tight racing i had an advantage in certain sectors but he would have it in others.
SK picked up some damage at the high speed chicane in one of the rounds which caused the end of this battle as entering round 5 SK was leading coming into and uphill right hander his back end got loose and he couldnt control it and ended up spinning out and I was able to pass, it was quite a moment was very close to making contact, If SK didnt spin I feel he would have won this battle due to my understeer issues that realy show bad at sidewinder touge.

My first B class battle with Henry and my first race on his home course, My S14 felt much more at home here being this is a high speed course.
Our cars were very evan matched here I could get better corner exits on tight bends, but his DC2 could plow through the sweepers at ease, It was a very close race with alot of passing and a few bumps due to conflicting lines of an FF vs FR, Henry picked up front damage after running wide chasing mewhich ment his car couldnt stay ballanced in the sweepers anymore. In the next round I was able to pass Henry at the last corner on the inside. was a great close race look forward to more.

Confirmed. It was shaping up to be another great battle but my suspension damage got the best of me despite my efforts to push through it. Excellent race.

I did not have much confidence racing Henry at his home course as it favoured higher powered cars. I chose to lead but my VX was defenceless against the DC2 despite a blocking move early on. Very good race.

My first race on this track and as well my first race against H_enry_T.
I did not want to lead in the first round as i saw the previous battles between Mac and SK he had. His DC2 is mighty fast on this track - as this track favours the stronger cars - has long stretches.
So i somehow managed to stay in the 3 sec gap area and the race went into the 2nd round. I gave it my all to keep Henry behind me.
I knew that i cannot let this race go on any longer so i tryed all my best in the last round to pass him on the few realy hidious corners this track has to pass. And i suceeded and kept him behind me. I was very lucky.
Great Race and mostly a great racer.

Confirmed, great race. Front damage meant the car wouldnt stay straight at 180kph+.

Welcome underground. I hope you'll enjoy yourself here! So far, the people here are a real great bunch of people! I'm always happy to meet new fans! See you soon!

I've added Fragolas' Team Pic. Macc, if you could upload the team pics somewhere, it'll be good. Cause I forgot to export it from my PS3 yesterday.

Edit:
I've added the map pool for the tie breaker. It's based on Fragolas' and Maccer's previous battles in Season 3 and Season 2. Both of them have battled in those maps at least once before.

Edit 2:
Leaderboard Updated to Post: 4098

Henry added onto the Regular's list.

Good battle... We had a race before this one but we decide to give it another go since it was my fault he lost the first race... We went three rounds that we bumper to bumper but the last round he ran a corner too wide and I overtook but there was contact and he spun out so I slowed down since it was my fault but I ended up keepin the lead... Was a good battle though...

I've been following some of the other threads here and have found some good stuff. The Drag Forum has this system called "Ghost" where a player in front will signal the go for the two players at the starting point.

I'm thinking of implementing this into the Grip Gambler mode. So at the start of the Grip Gambler mode, there will be 3 cars, the two racers will line up and the other player will do the countdown and "Ghosting". This will then implement a proper starting race and will make the launch from start more important. Let me know what you guys think and the practical of it.

This sounds not bad. This Grip Gambler sounds very exciting - as all will be decided in one round. It just has to be clear where the Ghost car will give the signal to start the race - so that the two cars are side by side - not in a corner or so.
The one car taking the lead into the first corner will have the advantage for the race - as he will be leading.
Hmmm - this grip gampler will show who the good ones are. If you can overtake in one round the leader.
This will be a very exciting addition to the battle styles we have here. I am looking forward to this - even tough i know i am not cut out for it - i am having a hard time by CMSD 2 seconds to keep the excitement in check.

Grip Gambler (GG)
GG is a standing start race where two player will line up side by side and launch the race with a countdown. The player who crosses the finish line first wins. A countdown "Ghost" is prefered in this mode.

Options:
GGW - First Lap to warm up tyres and line up ready for race in Lap 2.
GGH# - A handicap given to a player where "#" is time handicap.
GG2 - A two lap GG Race.
GGR - GG Reverse, the race is performed in the reverse direction of the track.
GGU - A GG Race that races forward till the end of the lap and does a U-turn and races in reverse direction. U-Turn is to be done from left to right.

Grip Gambler + U-Turn
- The U-Turn is done at the end of the lap.
- To successfully turn the U-Turn, you must be on Lap 2.
- The general turning direction is from left to right.
- The player at the back is responsible to not cause a crash.[/INDENT]

Expanding on the Grip Gambler mode for next season!

I think that the battle betwwen Frag and Maccer will still happen between those two even though I've jumped up to 3rd place in Class B above Frag

That's correct, it's inevitable now. I think it's pretty good like this, using the results from the first two weeks to sort out the possible finals. There really isn't a fix formula to determine the finals. But it's still something I believe that is fair and would create an exciting event to look forward to.

could the final be watched by spectators?

yes leo, add lotS members from post one on psn and when the room is up you can spectate. plus you gave a shout out to fragolas and i but forgot wynter lol he and i are the ones who recomended an fd.
