You have to understand that people have a life outside the gaming world. It's not that we aren't trying, it's our live's with school, work, family and other shannanigans.
On the other point that you mentioned, we are allowed to race whoever we want to. I, for example, like to race new guys. On the first season, I raced a newcomer and afterwards, I would race a pro. One of the best thing on racing new guys is the challenge that they provide you since you don't know their level of skill. On the FF challenge, I beat a newcomer on the first week, only to lose on a 12 round ( correct me if wrong ) battle the very next week. That newcomer is know as Redsuns-Maccer42.
So, to finish this up, you need to loosen up a bit.

Solidsnake has been coming to the 450 rooms, and mentioning this. I'm interested, but I'm waiting for the B class to come back. I

Seriously, who talked about skill? Everyone is a newcomer to something. I was not saying that he was better or worst than me.
And who is talking smack? You don't really understand things. Besides, I would race Maccer anytime. He is a awesome folk to race with, in victory or defeat.

ppl were active and i was invited by tons off ppl tons off times!wy?s3 i think but hanged be4

This isn't even my thread, but your posts are consistently breaking the second point of the Acceptable Use Policy. They are hard-to-read ramblings that don't make a lot of sense, make my head hurt, and might scare away anyone, like me, that might've been interested in joining.

No offence but Side Seasons are always quiet as every LotS member either has some down time to get ready for the next Core Season or has little time to race.

I'm missing in action due to switching jobs and preparing for my parents visit and coordinating my sister-in-law's wedding and my little daughter teething again. Tough nights and days for me lol.

:ouch: sounds like a hell of a handful. Hope to see you back on the Touge soon 👍

So, in S3, you were a newcomer to LotS official races, not to "touging".

I WAS CLEARLY TALKING ABAUT PRO´S VS NOOB´S RAG :/!!! u ansered i raced a pro and a newcomer!ence noob!iff ur replying to my post or arent you?!!! :/

Thanks guys for putting down your differences. Anyways, there isn't a proper definition or restriction in official GT5. And there are other "touge" rooms when you search on the GT5 open lobby.

Touge as defined by LotS for GT5 is a very small community. And the best of times is when younger GT5 players (players still doing their studies) are on their holidays and not playing something else, that's when LotS gets the most population.

But when working people get their holidays, they usually have other plans other than GT5. =)

This Side Season is a testing ground anyway. I find that people come in the rooms and still run their Class A and B cars. Lol.

I choose to chase and also gave walter a small head start, I noticed going into turn two that his DB9 ran wide in the turns so on the exit of turn three i unleashed the power and passed him on the straight. Walternate was unable to match pace and fell to a 27.8 second gap.

I choose to chase again and on the exit of turn was i was surprised by the pace of the xB. i tried to pull an outside pass on the straight after turn four but both of us pulled a mistake in to the next turn when the xB pinned me against the wall. Luckily i gained no damage and managed to pull away to a 4.4 second win.

So.. I just read up the last two pages and have only this to say.

Personally, I don't join lobbies for two reasons. My internet connection isn't of the highest standard, and those that I race with regularly can attest to the fact. Also, I just started my college semester 2 weeks ago so my available time is lesser than past months BUT I still find time to get on and race with my fellow LotS friends. I also run TheCardboardBox tuning alongside OSE_CAP__SHADOW and Wangan Masters on my own but I still dedicate plenty of time to LotS since as most of you may or may not know... I've been around since DAY 1. I intend on supporting LotS as long as my real life commitments allow me to simply because I love GT5 and I love to Touge!! Those that know me, know that i love to tune. I might have unorthodox or peculiar style in tuning.. but it works ;)

Another thing... I believe we're all here to learn from each other, not bash on about who's better, who's got the title and who sucks. I actually love racing with the noobs simply because I feel that as a staple in the touge community, I can instill them with knowledge and experience. Since I'm not of the highest skill level myself (mainly because I don't drive as much as I used to.. damn, imagine if i did :sly:) I enjoy showing them the ropes, and introducing them to the rest of the LotS regulars whenever possible. I also love getting my ass kicked by the pros because how else are you gonna ebtter yourself if you don't find the flaws in your own technique? I just hope that someday the touge community on GT5 is large enough that it gets recognized by PD and they further support our niche hobby with those mythical things we've all wanted like real touge tracks as DLC or even better.. Point-to-point Course Creator tracks for Toscana and Mt. ASO :D

Woot - whats going on here?

I for myself cant get on every day - i wish i could. But than again even if i could that does not mean i would play GT5 each time.
For instance i know that i probably will not be on much in the next days because of the new Final Fantasy game.
But when the next Season kicks off i know i will be on much more than now. As i have my car allready set up for the next season i do not go on that much - rather enjoy a good session of Final Fantasy.
But why trying to yell at others that they are not online if someone else is and he wants to play but no one other is.
I think we should not look at LOTS as something given, that there always will be someone on if you or me or anyone wants to have a race on the Touge.
I think what LOTS is - is just a place where fellow gamers are, that enjoy playing / driving on user generated courses that should resemble the Touge / Mountain passes of Japan. Well with the given options the game allow us to do.
You know - now it will be drasticall - LOTS can go and disappear from one day to another. As this community is created by people. So if no one would want to play LOTS would stop to exists.
So just enjoy the chance you have been given to race with Touge enthusiasts as i do whenever there is someone online.
Well and if they are not - there are still other things to do in game, other games to play or other real things to do.
But for me - when i get on and there is someone online i really am happy.
So i am thankful for this Thread and the chance to compete on "Touge" courses.
Cheers everyone - and dont forget - its just a game 👍

The battle was a close one. It lasted 3 rounds. 1st round i chose to chase. My ek9 would out do him in the turns, but that xb was a monster out on the straights. Again on the second round, when i led, i would pull away from him on the turns only for him to regain the gap on the straights. Finally on the 3rd round he had understeer, where i took the inside and passed cleanly. He then retried to overtake me where i started taking dangerous lines to slowly increase my lead to 1.2 seconds.

BTW, I raced StreetKing07 and OSE_CAP__SHADOW for my 1st two matches, i did not whine. They have hundreds of times the skill I do. I lost, but you know what? It was a learning experience, and now my EK9 is working hard to get better thanks to both their miatas.

(P.S. OSE_CAP__SHADOW wasn't the track you faces Walternate420 Mt. Akina? )

I wanted to say dont erase me guys from your friend list because I'm away, but will be back in action on March... I can't wait! I miss driving with you guys :( although I am having good times where I am now too:crazy: lol. Cheers, have fun my friends.

That's one thing I just love about LotS, though. As others of you have mentioned, there is such camaraderie amongst us. It should always be that way. Respect for your fellow Rival. Even if SHADOW always kicks my ass on the road, I always enjoy driving against him because I learn a thing or two every run.
