Just registered for the Initial D Recreation side series.
I rolled #29
Kobayakawa - Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VII GSR (CT9A) #29
Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VII GSR '01 - Colour: Yellow

Looking foward to getting back onto the touge.

Ok reroll was #22 lucky me it's my fav # and I get to run the black FD!

If anyone has a '93 Type R they can trade that would be great. I have a '91 but not the '93. If I can't get a '93 can I run the '91 instead?

No Problem, btw for anyone interested, I have all if not 97% of all cars needed stock, 0 miles. Just ask.

Your pretty much correct, but it turns out the yakuza group are actually Keisuke's ex-gang members.

18 official registered rivals for this side season so far.... Still 7 days to go before we start the season

yeah i know, kudos on your getting bunta luck 👍

i have a 480pp tuned bunta if you want it, awd is my thing so it may help you develop a tune of your own.

The feeling of uncertainty with having to pick a car number completely at random is certainly making things very interesting as some established players have ended up in cars they didn't expect to land.

it provides a challenge, but some are getting lucky on car #

anyone up for some test runs tonight, i wanna see how my evo stacks up.

i killed its power but went for light weight, tuned for turns with use of A.Y.C. and my suspension.

I hate the AYC, with it I cannot stop the inside rear tyre from spinning first, so It cause a bit of understeer on throttle.

I swapped it for the LSD instead and was much happier with the outcome.

I wanted my evo to be able to drift easy enough around the corners but you cannot do this with the AYC installed.

What setting do you find comfortable with the AYC?

Well as heavy as the R34 is I've finally got the understeer down quite a bit! Running quite fast now (on my track) so interested to see how it stacks up to some other tracks.

Evo's use a helical-type front LSD, you're supposed to capitalize on the low-mid range torque and coast, as well as accelerate mid-corner with the backfire-style turbocharger on them. which enables you to exit corners with blistering acceleration. It requires a steady throttle.

Less so with R34, especially when using the stock center-differential. It's a much quicker transition to straighten out with the four-wheel steering. but, the standard-type differential tends to understeer under heavy front load. While using AYC, you can actually have the opposite effect by way of precise throttle control.

meaning; in an evo, your can gain speed far sooner while cornering than in most 4WD. Providing you have mastered, or at least figured out the footwork.

It's extremely key to not overbrake or try to floor it to l too soon
