This battle was great! This time, we had no redos. I kept decreasing the gap at the corners, he's fast on the straight. He's good! I accidentally tap him at the last corner(I think I brake late). Sorry Jack!

No redo's haha, nope we did good considering last battle. Either you brake late or I brake early. It was deffo me I havent been driving properly lately, but dont worry i'll be back!! Good Fun Battle

First round was great, I´ve pass trought some corners faster and gained some advantage, but Roors was faster in the next sector, with a gap of 0,400 sec.
Second round I´ve been caught on father obligations by my kid and spun out. No matter these I thin I wouldn´t win second round too. Congrats, Roors94, great fun driving with this guy

Confirmed it was a great 1st round, haha.

I have decided to retire the Toyota MR-S from LotS, its had its fair share of wins and losses so now it time for a newer, modern car.

Most of you are going to have a tough time beating this guy, hes a very good racer. He can handle his car with great precision and high entry speeds. The only thing he lacks is his awareness of where his opponent is on the track, I pulled a pass a couple times and got nudged a lil bit like he didnt know I was going to be there.

I wish I had a way to get this vid on the web so yall could see it, it was crazy.
I led into turn 1, on turn 3 I almost lost it and took us both out but he managed to squeeze by in the dirt. 3-5 turns later I pass him back, haha right after that somebody comments on the race and I read it and miss a braking point lol I sustained minimal damage and continued to race. We finish the first lap and im about .5 sec behind him. He leads going in to lap 2 its a heated battle but I squeeze by securing the lead at the end of the run. He opts to lead again for the final lap, I pass him cleanly and he must of missed a braking point because he hit me and took off with the lead! About 3 turns before the finish he makes a mistake, I also give him a lil contact and make the pass for the win.

Side Note: If the chaser passes on lap 1 and finishes lap in the lead does he automaticly win? or do I get a chance to pass him on the next lap. We could say; If your chasing in lap 1 and pass and hold the lead, your opponent HAS to pass you back on lap 2 when he chases for it to go to the 3rd lap, if he doesnt pass you, you win no matter how much time there is between you at the end.

Side Note 2: Can we make it a rule where, official LotS races must be done at night? I know cribanox has TV issues but darn it I just love running at night, it takes more skill and very good track knowledge

I appreciate the kinds words. Yeah my spacial awareness isnt up to par but the way I race, if I have the inside line and I'm defending, Im having it lol.
I wont beat around the bush in saying you are the best racer in this league and you're the one to beat which is evident in your track record. Touge racing is all a bit new to me so I feel quite proud I can run with the best. Great racer and I would suggest him to anyone who doesnt want to just earn easy points.
It's a shame about the followers lol. You seem to have gathered quite the crowd with 'woo go NSX' and 'VTEC power' to name just a few in race commentaries from spectators and other competitors but thats the kind of following you get for being the best I guess.

If you want send me a Friend request ill record it with my capture card for ya. :)

You can't watch other people replay which I think is stupid as I'd love a 'share replays' option. But InitialD may have a USB to save the replay on then email it to you to record. That would be mucho appreciated, definitely a replay to watch. Also Initial you forgot about the close finish, I dont know weather you watched the replay back but I was 0.09x seconds behind you on the straight. Very tight.

I was going to give you 3 reasons on why you shouldn't warm up your tires, but I say go ahead, If you dare ;) think about whos gonna have better tires on lap 3 of a 5.6mi track. My Track EATS tires for Breakfast :) no matter what it should not be allowed In a Grip Gamble Battle, hence the name...

I think it should be allowed, especially for Grip Gambler. In street racing, by the time you drive to your battle location, your tyres should be warmed up already.

For the 3 lap battle it can be optional. And your track eats tyres? Grip management is the name of the game.

Yes the chaser automatically wins if he passes you and maintains his lead till the finish line. There will not be another lap. This is not a best of three.

Side Note 2: Can we make it a rule where, official LotS races must be done at night? I know cribanox has TV issues but darn it I just love running at night, it takes more skill and very good track knowledge

Probably not a rule, but you do a request, or at least let your opponent know that you only battle night tracks and let them practice at night.

Yes it takes very good track knowledge, but at the moment, the home track system isn't enforced yet. I found multiple versions of the same track *cough* The Southern Touge *cough*. So unless the players can agree on that, to only have one track and not change it, only then we can look a little bit further. Cause I see players post on the forum on their track changes once a while, and that's hard to keep track off.

Also, not all tracks can be run at night. Some tracks also have weather variables while others don't.

Well cancel my last win and give it to Deenie-bee, Congrats deenie good race, I will be gunning for you on monday 👍

I think I'll put my S2000 in a storage soon. I'm falling in love with my NSX-R. I just clocked a 3:00.569 at Mt. Akina ( Solid's track ). I don't know if it's a good time, but I'm proud. xD
I can't reach that kind of time with the S2000. The S2k did help me achieve a higher level of control but I don't know. :guilty:

On "topic", the tournament is getting bigger with a lot of people joining. This is a good thing. It kinda means that people like the idea.
All hail TimberW.

EDIT:
I'm going to be busy today,

If someone could Submit the Results from the Post #521 onwards, it'll be great. saves me the time to extract each info out. It's easier for me just to copy the values from the cells and plug it in.

You can check the incoming data at this spreadsheet under the "Incoming Results" tab.

lovely jubbly.

MONSTAR-1 i still need to redeem myself.

When ever the reset is I suppose. I looking to battle TAKUMI in his R1 but he hasn't replied to my PM or my post on here. I think he is trying to avoid me. Might be to scared to race. Lol

Id also like to battle CRIBANOX and TOPBARN.

I'll be online in about 4 hours if anyone wants to battle.

We raced on the Sunday so it should be alright. Time difference is annoying, what time did we battle last time?

Hmm not sure what time we ran. But if we are on at the same time tonight then we can race. We will do your home track as we taxed on mine I think...

There's a new challenger on the block. Check out the incoming tab on the rivals list.

My thoughts:

I think posting the results on this thread, using the current method is quite good and effective. Using the form, whilst it may be good, but it takes away the interactivity in the thread which makes it so great. It's great to see people quoting the battle results and commenting on them... what do you guys think?

I forgot to say, the rivals databases hyperlink is broken/incomplete.

The hyperlink is working for me. I know the database inside is incomplete. are other users having problems with the hyperlink?
